Selecting interfaces to view
Select “View Interfaces” link from the left pane.
The “Select Interface To View” page appears.
The system displays the date format as applicable to the login user.
Select or enter the following:
Interface Definition Unit |
Select the organization unit where the Data Transfer Setup component is deployed. |
Interface Group Description |
To retrieve all interfaces belonging to a specific interface group, select this group from the drop-down list box. For example, if you select “A1”, all interfaces belonging to the interface group A1 will be displayed. |
Interface Type |
To retrieve all interfaces belonging to a specific interface type, select this type from the drop-down list box. For example, if you select “Upload”, all interfaces of the type “Upload” will be displayed. |
Interface Description |
To retrieve all interfaces whose descriptions contain a given set of characters, type in these characters. |
Interface Method |
To retrieve all interfaces using a specific method of data transfer, select this method from the drop-down list box. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton
The multiline displays the following, for the interfaces that satisfy the search criteria you specified.
Interface Group Description |
The description of the interface group to which each interface belongs. |
Interface Type |
The type to which the interface group belongs. There are two types: “upload“ and “download“. |
Interface |
The unique code of the interface. |
Interface Method |
The method of data transfer used by the interface. The options available are “BCP“ Bulk Copy Processing), “ASCII“ and “Direct“. |
Active |
“Yes” is displayed, if the interface is active. |
In the multiline, check the “Select” box contained in the record of the interface whose details you require to view. Select the “View Interface” link, to view the interfaces selected above, or
Select the hyperlinked “Interface Group Description” field of the interface record you require to view, in the multiline
