Select the “Tax Calculator” link from the left pane.
The “Tax Calculator” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |

Tax Year |
The tax year for which the tax declarations of the employees must be recorded. By default, the system displays the current tax year. The drop-down list box lists all the tax years defined in the “Create Tax Year” activity. |

Current tax year indicates the year in which the system date falls within the start and end date of the tax year. If such tax year is not defined, the system will default with “Select” value. |
Select the “Simulate Tax Liability” pushbutton to compute the tax for which the employee is liable to pay to the government.
The “Simulate Tax Liability” report is displayed. This report is used to analyze the tax liability for an employee against planned investments as on a month within a financial year.
