Maintaining skill-qualification mapping

 

 

You can map the skill with the corresponding qualification.

• Select the “Maintain Skill-Qualification Mapping” option from the left pane.

The “Maintain Skill-Qualification Mapping” page appears.

• Specify the following in the “HR Set Up Unit Details” group box.

HR Set Up Unit	Select the setup unit in which the HR setup component is deployed, from the drop-down list box.
Date Format	The date format applicable to the login user.

• You can specify the following in the ”Skill Details” group box.

Skill Code

A unique code to identify a skill. Help facility available

• On selecting the “Get” pushbutton the following details are displayed.

Skill	A description of the skill is displayed beside this field.
Skill Type	The type to which the selected skill belongs.

 

Mapping the qualification with the selected skill.

• You can specify the following details in the ”Qualification Details” multiline.

Qualification Code	A unique code to identify the qualification. Help facility available
Qualification Description	A description pertaining to the qualification.

 

To save the details

• Select the “Maintain Skill-Qualification Mapping” pushbutton to save the details.

Note: The user can unmap a qualification from a skill by selecting the qualification and clicking the “Delete” pushbutton.
