Request No:

The serial number of the hire request.

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Vacancy at Employment Unit

The employment unit at which the vacancy exists.

Company

The name of the company in which the vacancy exists. The system displays this value based on the Employment Unit specified.

Work Location

The name of the place where the employment unit/company is situated.

Requested Date

The date on which the hire request is submitted.

Required By Date

The date by which the manpower requirement is to be addressed.

Employee Type

The type of the job, for example, regular, contract etc. The employee type indicates if the requirement is for regular employees, contract employees, trainees etc.

Number Required

The number of employees required.

Position Title

The title of the position specified in the “Request for Hire” page.

Department

The department to which the position or job for which the hire request is made pertains to.

Job Title

The title of the job specified in the “Request for Hire” page.

Note: The vacancy allocation details can be specified by the supervisor raising the hire request, the HR user who is to act upon the hire request or the authorizer. If the details are already specified by the supervisor, the HR user or the authorizer can edit the details, if necessary.

Category

The employment category to which you want to allocate a percentage of vacancies. For example, for a total of 30 vacancies, 6% of the vacancies can be allocated to ex-service personnel and 1 % to handicapped people etc. From the drop-down list box, select the required category.

Allocated Percentage

The percentage of vacancies allocated to the corresponding category.

Allocated Number

The exact number of vacancies allocated to the corresponding category. The system computes the number when you specify the percentage and select the “Save” pushbutton below the multiline.
