Selecting a hire request to edit

Select “Edit Recorded Hire Request” from left pane.
The “Select Hire Request to Edit” page appears.
The system displays the following detail at the top right of the page.
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Specify the following details.
Request for Hiring Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the organization unit in which the Request for Hiring unit is deployed. All the organization units for which you have privileges are listed. |
Vacancy Unit |
The employment unit where the vacancy exists and for which the hire request is submitted. From the drop-down list box, select the required value. |
Note: When you select the required employment unit from the drop-down list box, the system lists in the multiline, all the hire request made for the selected employment unit. You can select the required hire request, which you want to edit.
To select through direct entry
Use this method if you know the request number of the hire request.
Enter the request number in the “Request No:” field.
Select the “Edit Hire Request” hyperlink beside.
The “Edit Hire Request” page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To select hire request through search criteria
In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records. Optionally, you can enter values in all the fields to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
Position Title |
To view the hire request of position titles containing specific characters, enter one or more characters of the position title. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: Manager*, will search for position titles that start with Manager, such as Manager HR, Manager Finance, etc. |
Department Description |
To search a hire request based on department that pertains to a position and containing specific characters, enter one or more characters of the department description. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: *Resource, will search for department descriptions that end with Resource, such as Human Resource. |
Grade Set |
To search a hire request based on grade set, enter one or more characters of the grade set description. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Grade |
To search a hire request based on grade, enter one or more characters of the grade. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |
Request No. From |
To search a hire request based on request number, enter the number that starts the range. |
Request No. To |
To search a hire request based on request number, enter the number that ends the range. |
Requested Date From |
The date on or after which the request for hire that you are searching has been submitted. This date must be earlier than the “Requested To” date. |
Requested Date To |
The date before which the request for hire that you are searching has been submitted. This date must be later than the “Requested From” date. |
Requester |
The employee who submitted the request for hire. |
Status |
To search the hire request based on the authorization status, select the required status from the drop-down list box. The values displayed in the drop-down list box are “Authorized”, “Pending Authorization”, and “Rejected”. |
Select the “Search” pushbutton.
The system displays the following details in the “Hire Request Details” multiline, for the hire requests made for the specified employment unit.
Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system
will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch
the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select
the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are
applicable to the selected employment unit.
Request No. |
The serial number of the hire request. |
Vacancy Unit |
The description of the employment unit in which the vacancy exists. |
Position Title |
The title of the position for which the hire request has been made. |
Department |
The description of the department to which the position for which the hire request has been made, belongs. |
Grade Set |
The grade set of the request. |
Grade |
The grade of the request. |
Requested Date |
The date on which the request for hire was submitted. |
Requester |
The employee who submitted the request for hire. |
Status |
The status of the hire request, such as “Pending for Authorization”, “Rejected”, or “Authorized”. |
To edit RFH
Select the request number hyperlink of the required hire request in the multiline. Alternatively, select the check box for the required hire request in the multiline and click the "Edit Hire Request" link.
The system displays the details of the selected RFH in the “Edit Hire Request” page, which you can edit.
To post resume to the selected RFH
Select the check box for the required hire request in the multiline and click the "Post Resume" link.
The system displays the "Post Resume" page.
