Resume – An Overview

The Resume component of the Hire Process enables the efficient management of the following tasks:

The head count and, compensation offered to employees are validated against the paygrid definition.

After an applicant is hired, his/her employee file and compensation are created. The personal information is created from the resume of applicant.

Post Resume: This activity enables the CHR team to record the details of a resume. Further, the CHR can take action on resumes in one of the following ways: talent bank for future posting, allocate for immediate posting or reject. However, it is not mandatory to perform any action on a resume.

The details of interview and the employment details of the applicant in the event of appointment are also recorded in this activity.

Post Resume against a Vacancy: The line managers or Heads of Departments can attach a resume to a selected vacancy. This activity enables you to record new resumes as well as edit the details of available resumes in the system. Further, you can take the following actions on resumes: immediately hire the applicant by overriding the interview process, reserve the applicant to put him/her on to the evaluation process or reject the resume.

 A resume can be  reserved against a RFH for a maximum of three days. During this time, the resume is not available for posting. By default, the system, releases the resume for posting to other RFHs at the end of the three day period, if it is not released by users.

You can also record the interview results and, the employment details of a successful applicant, when he/she becomes an employee.
