Editing additional resume details
Ensure that you are in the “Edit Resume” page.
Select the “Additional Resume Details” link at the bottom of the page.
The “Additional Resume Details” Page appears.
The system displays the following on the top of the page.
Date |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Resume ID |
The resume ID from the previous page. |
Applicant ID |
The unique ID that identifies an applicant for a vacancy. |
To enter/edit Family Background information
Specify the following in the “Family Background” multiline.
First Name |
The first name of your relative. For example, if your relative’s full name is Mary Joyce Sebastian, the first name is Mary. |
Middle Name |
The middle name of your relative. For example, if your relative’s full name is Mary Joyce Sebastian, the middle name is Joyce. |
Last Name |
The last name of your relative. For example, if your relative’s full name is Mary Joyce Sebastian, the last name is Sebastian. |
Relationship |
Your relationship with the mentioned person. For example, Mother, Sister, Wife, daughter, etc. |
Date Of Birth |
Your relative’s date of birth. |
Gender |
Your relative’s gender, whether male or female. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
Dependent |
From the drop-down list box, select “Yes”, if your relative is dependent on you, otherwise select “No”. |
Citizenship Identification Number |
Your relative’s citizenship identification number. |
Marital Status |
Your relative’s marital status, whether married, unmarried, single, or divorced. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. |
Occupation |
Your relative’s occupation. |
Employer / School |
If your relative is employed, enter the organization name. For example, if your relative is working as a teacher in a school, enter the name of the school. |
To enter/edit details of the course(s) that you are pursuing
Specify the following in the “Course(s) Currently Pursuing” multiline.
Institution |
The name of the institute where you are pursuing the course. |
Course Pursuing / Expected Qualification |
The name of the course that you are pursuing. For example, M.Sc Mathematics, M.A. Journalism. |
Expected MM/YYYY Of Exams |
The month and year when the exams for the course will be held. |
Expected MM/YYYY Of Results Released |
The month and year when the results of the exams for the course will be released. |
To enter/edit Membership Details
Specify the following in the “Membership Details” multiline.
Membership Type |
The type of the membership that you hold in an institution. From the drop-down list box, select the required option. For example, President, Secretary, Treasurer, etc. |
Institution |
The name of the institution in which you are a member. |
To enter/edit Scholarship Details
Specify the following in the “Scholarship Details” multiline.
Name |
The name of the scholarship that you hold. |
Value |
The total prize money that you received as scholarship. |
From MM/YYYY |
The month and year from which the scholarship is applicable. |
To MM/YYYY |
The month and year till which the scholarship is applicable. |
To enter/edit Bond(s) information
Specify the following in the “Bond(s)” multiline.
Type of Bond(s) |
The type of bond you have served or are serving. |
From MM/YYYY |
The month and year from which the bond is valid. |
To MM/YYYY |
The month and year till which the bond is valid. |
To enter/edit the details about Extra Curricular Activities
Specify the following in the “Extra Curricular Activities” multiline.
Institution |
The name of the institution where you were involved in the extra curricular activities. |
ECA |
The description of the extra curricular activity. |
Position Held |
The position held by you in the activity. |
To enter/edit details about Work Experience
Specify the following in the “Work Experience” multiline.
Employment Type |
The type of employment. The drop-down list box displays “Previous” and “Current”. Select the required option. |
From |
The start date for the period of employment. |
To |
The end date for the period of employment. |
Position Held |
The position that you held during the period of employment. |
Organization |
The name of the organization where you were employed during the period of employment. |
Address |
The address of the organization where you were employed during the period of employment. |
Phone |
The phone number of the organization where you were employed during the period of employment. |
Basic Salary |
The basic salary that you were drawing during the period of employment. |
Gross Salary |
The gross salary that you were drawing during the period of employment. |
Job Responsibilities |
The job responsibilities that you were assigned during the period of employment. |
Reason(s) For Leaving |
The reason why you left the previous organization. |
To enter/edit details of National Service Status
Specify the following in the “National Service Status” group box.
Service Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of service with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). The service type of the employee could be army, navy, air force etc. |
SAF Service Period |
The period of service with the SAF. Enter the numeric value in the text box and choose a value from the drop-down list beside it. The drop-down list displays “Days”, “Weeks”, and “Months”. |
Rank |
The rank you hold or held by you during the period of service with the SAF. For example, Colonel, Captain etc. |
Vocation |
The description of the vocation. Apart from what you have mentioned, specify the details of any other service that you have done with SAF. |
Enlistment Date |
The date on which you were enlisted for the national service. |
Operationally Ready Date (ORD) |
The date on which you were operationally ready for national service. This date must be greater than or same as the enlistment date. |
To enter/edit details of Languages Known
Specify the following in the “Languages Known” multiline.
Language |
From the drop-down list, select the names of the languages that you know. |
Proficiency |
For a chosen language, select the proficiency level you have from the drop-down list box. For example, read, write, speak, etc. |
To enter/edit any other information
Enter the details in the text box, beside the “Other Information” field. If information to be entered exceeds the space in the text box, do the following:
Select the book icon beside the text box. The system displays a dialog box.
Enter the details in the dialog box.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
Select the "Save as Draft" pushbutton to save the resume as draft.
Select the “Submit Resume” pushbutton to submit your resume for processing.
