Viewing the salary fitment of a shortlisted applicant

Choose an applicant whose status is “Finally Shortlisted” from the “List Of Applicants” multiline in the “View Single Step Applicant Evaluation” page, by checking beside the “Applicant Name”, and selecting the “Perform Applicant Salary Fitment” link at the bottom of the page.
The “View Applicant Salary Fitment” page appears.
The system displays the following on the top of the page.

Date |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
|
Resume ID |
The unique ID of the applicant’s resume. |
|
Applicant Name |
The name of the applicant. |
|
Position Title |
The title of the position for which the applicant is shortlisted. |
|
Department |
The name of the department to which the specified position pertains. |
|
Job Title |
The title of the job applicable to the specified position. |
|
Selected For |
The description of the position for which the applicant is selected. |
|
Currency |
The currency in which the salary will be paid to the shortlisted applicant. For example, Rupees, US Dollar, British Pound etc. |
|
Rated Frequency |
The basic unit of time, for which the compensation is fixed, such as Hour, Day, Week and Month. |
To view the base salary for the applicant
The system displays the following in the “Set Base Salary” group box.

Base Salary |
The basic salary for the finally shortlisted applicant. |
|
Scale |
The pay scale for the applicant. |
|
Payment Frequency |
The time intervals such as Day, Week and Month, at which the compensation is paid. For instance, an employee’s salary is fixed at $100 per Day, and he/she is paid once every month. The rated frequency is “Day” and the payment frequency is ‘Month’, in this instance. The compensation is computed for the number of working days per month. |
To view the salary fitment details for the applicant
The system displays the following in the “Salary Fitment Details” multiline.

Pay Element |
The pay element for the shortlisted applicant. For example, Housing Allowance, Car Allowance etc. |
|
Proposed Salary |
The salary amount for the pay element that is proposed for the shortlisted applicant. |
|
Earning / Deduction |
The system displays “Earning”, if the salary amount for the pay element is added to the basic salary, and “Deduction”, if the salary amount for the pay element is deducted from the basic salary. |

Remarks |
The assessor’s comments, if any. |
The system displays the following details.
|
Gross Pay |
The gross salary that will be the total sum of the base salary and the pay elements that are categorized as earnings. |
|
Previous Annual Gross |
The annual gross salary of the shortlisted applicant in the previous organization where he / she was employed. |
|
Proposed Annual Gross |
The annual gross salary that is proposed for the shortlisted applicant. |
