Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

Organization

The name of the organization for which you are evaluating the applicant for the selected exercise.

Position Title

The name of the position, for example, Manager, Senior Executive etc., for which you are evaluating the applicant for the selected exercise.

Department

The department to which the position pertains to.

Job Title               

The title of the job applicable to the position.

Applicant Name

The name of the applicant you are evaluating.

Exercise

The name of the exercise for which you are evaluating the applicant’s performance.

Venue

The place at which the selected exercise for which you are evaluating the applicant, is conducted.

Assessor

The name of the person assessing the applicant’s evaluation.

Competency

The description of the competency, for example, Programming, Designing etc., applicable to the selected exercise for which you are evaluating the selected applicant.

Competency Wt. (%)

The weightage assigned to the competency with respect to the other competencies comprising the selected exercise. The system computes the overall exercise ratings for the exercise based on the scores achieved by the applicant in the competencies comprising the exercise.

Numeric Rating

The score achieved by the applicant in the corresponding competency applicable to the selected exercise. Enter the score achieved by the applicant in the corresponding competency, for example, 80, 67, 59 etc., for a maximum of 100, 120 or 150 etc., as set in the system parameters.

Rating by Grade

From the drop down list box, select the grade, for example, “Excellent”, “Good” etc., which you want to assign to the applicant’s performance in the corresponding competency element.

 

In the rating by grade option, different grades for example “Excellent”, “Good”, “Average”, “Poor” etc., can be set in the system parameters during installation. A numeric score range can be associated with each grade. For example, for a maximum score of 100, the applicant scores ranging from 80-100 can be associated with the grade “Excellent” and scores ranging from 60-80 can be associated with the grade “Good” etc.

Remarks

The remarks you want to enter with respect to the applicant’s performance in the competency.

Exercise Rating

The overall exercise ratings of the applicant.

Competency Class

The description of the competency class applicable to the selected competency.

Comp. Class Wt. (%)

The competency class weightage in percentage.

Competency Element Description

The description of the competency element applicable to the selected competency.

Comp. Element Wt (%)

The weightage in percentage of the competency element.

Numeric Rating

Enter the score achieved by the applicant in the corresponding competency element comprising the selected exercise. The score, for example, 80, 67, 59 etc., for a maximum of 100, 120 or 150 etc., achieved by the applicant in the corresponding competency element.

 

You can evaluate the applicant for an exercise in two methods such as, numeric rating and rating by grade. The required rating choice can be set in the system parameters during installation.

 

In the numeric rating option, the maximum score for an exercise can be set as 100, 120, 150 etc., against which the performance of the applicant can be rated numerically. For example, if the maximum score is set as 120, the applicant scores can be 80, 86, 72 etc.

Competency Rating

The system computes and displays in this field the overall ratings of the applicant in the selected competency when you select the “Compute Competency Rating” pushbutton below the multiline. The system computes the ratings based on the weightages assigned to the competency elements comprising the exercise and the applicant’s scores in each of the competency elements.

The comments you want to enter with regard to the applicant’s score in the competency.
