Select View State from the left pane
The Select State to View page appears.
Enter the following fields
HR General Information Unit |
The organization unit in which the HR General Information component is deployed . Tell me more |
Language |
The system displays the language in which the login user logged in. In other words, this refers to the language you selected in the login screen, to access this activity. From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to view the details. |
Country |
From the drop-down list box, select the language in which you require to edit the qualification record |
Select the state record, either through the Direct Entry group box or through the Search Criteria group box.
Use this method if you know the complete code of the required state.
Enter the complete code of the state in the State Code field.
Select the View State hyperlink beside.
The View State page appears. All details of the selected record are displayed.
To view state, refer to the topic Viewing a State.
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the state code or nothing at all. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the state code contains. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. To narrow your search to the closest matching records, you can also enter search criteria for the description of the state also. In case you do not know anything, just click on search without entering any fields. The entire set of records will be fetched
Enter the following search criteria values, in some or all of the following fields.
State Code |
To view all state codes containing specific characters, type in a starting range of these characters along with the wild card character *. Example: If you type in DPT*, the system will display all the state records having the prefix DPT. |
State Description |
To view all state descriptions containing specific characters, type in a range of these characters along with the wild card character "*" Examples: *Cal, New* . |
Select the Search pushbutton.
Note:
If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the
records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system
will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group
box and select the Search pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records
that are available for the selected HR General Information unit.
The system displays the following details in the multiline, for the state records that satisfy the search criteria specified.
State Code |
The unique code of the state. |
State Description |
The description of the state. |
Local Type 1 |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided. The system displays one of the following options for Local Type 1: County, District. |
Local Type 2 |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided. The system displays one of the following options for Local Type 2: City, Town. |
Local Type 3 |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided. The system displays the following options for Local Type 3: School, District. Select the required option. |
Inactive |
The active or inactive status of the state. Active indicates that the state is available for use in other activities, and Inactive indicates otherwise. |
Select the data hyperlink on the description of the required state record in the multiline.
The system displays the View State page, which you can use to view the details.
