Selecting master ID to record additional master information
Select the “Record Additional Masters” from the left pane.
The “Select the Master ID to Record Additional Masters” page appears.
Enter the following.
HR General Information Unit |
From the drop down list, select the HR General Information unit. |
To select through Search Criteria
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the Master ID, Master Description or Applicable OU. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Master ID |
The unique code that identifies the master record. |
Master Description |
The short description of the master record. |
Key1 |
The first key field of the master. |
Key2 |
The second key field of the master. |
Applicable OU |
From the drop down list, select the organization unit, where the master record is available. Select “All” to indicate the master is valid for all organization units. |
The system displays the following information for the specified criteria: “Master ID”, “Master Description”, “Key1”, “Key2” and Applicable OU.
Click the hyperlink for the required master description.
The “Record Additional Masters” page appears.
To find the master for which you want to record or modify details.
