Creating a state
Select “Create State” from the left pane
The “Create State” page appears.
Enter the following fields
HR General Information Unit |
The organization unit in which the HR General Information component is deployed . Tell me more |
Country |
The country to which the state being defined and created belongs. From the drop-down list box, select the required country name. |
State Code |
A unique code to identify the state. |
State Description |
A unique description of the state code. |
Inactive |
The active or inactive status of the state details. You can activate or deactivate the state details, whenever necessary. If the state is in active status, it indicates that it is available for use in other activities. |

Indicate the type of constituting units into which the state is divided, for the purpose of administration.
Local Type 1 |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided. The system lists the following options in the drop-down list box: “County”, “District”. Select the required option. |
Local Type 2 |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided. The system lists the following options in the drop-down list box: “City”, “Town”. Select the required option. |
Local Type 3 |
The type of sub-administrative unit into which the state is divided. The system lists the following options in the drop-down list box: “School”, “District”. Select the required option. |
Comments |
The comments you want to enter pertaining to the details. |
Select the Book icon beside the “Comments” field. The system displays a dialog box.
Enter the comments in the dialog box.
Select the “OK” pushbutton to save the details and return to the previous page.
Select the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page without saving the details entered.
Select the “Save” pushbutton at the bottom of the page.
Use this page to create a state.
