Basics of using a Ramco Enterprise Series 4.0 web page

Using online help

       Select “Declaration by Employee EEA1” from the left pane.

The “Record Employee Declaration (EEA1)” page appears.

The system displays the following.

Date Format

The date format applicable to the login user.

To record employee declaration (EEA1)

       Enter the following.

Employee Code Setup Unit

The organization unit in which employee code parameters are defined for the login organization unit.

Employee Code

The unique code identifying the employee for whom you require to record the declaration.

Help available

       Enter the following in the “Personal Information” group box.

Gender

From the drop-down list box, select the gender of the employee

Race

From the drop-down list box, select the race of the employee.

Person with a Disability

From the drop-down list box, select any one of the following options

          “Yes” indicates that the person has a disability

          “No” indicates that the person has no disability

Nature of Disability

The nature of disability must be entered if the person has a disability.

       Enter the comments in the “Comments” field

To indicate whether a history of the modifications must be maintained

       Enter the following.

Modification Option

Select “Correct” or “Update” from the drop-down list box. If you select

           “Correct”, the history of modifications is not stored by the system. The record is merely corrected, and the system treats the modification date of the record to be the same as “Effective Date“you specified when you created the record.

          “Update”, the system stores the history of modifications, by inserting a new record to track each change to the record. The previous record is internally closed. When you select “Update”, you must also enter the date from which the changes must become effective.

New Effective Date

If the edit option you chose is “Update”, specify the date from which the current modification will be in effect. The system maintains the “Effective To Date” of the previous record to be one day less than the “New Effective Date”.

       Select the “Submit Request” pushbutton to save the details.

The system updates the Record Status.

The system displays the following.

Effective From

The date from which the declaration given by the employee is brought into effect.

Effective To

The date until which the declaration given by the employee is effective.

The system displays the “Rejected Reason” if the employee declaration was rejected.

To delete the declaration by employee (EEA1)

       Select the “Request for Deletion of Latest Record”  checkbox to mark the record for deletion

To view or cancel the request

       Enter the Employee Code Setup Unit and the Employee Code.

       Select the “Get” pushbutton.

The system displays the following.

Employee Name

The name of the employee.

Effective From

The date from which the employee declaration details are valid.

Effective To

The date until which the employee declaration details are valid.

 

       Select the “Previous” pushbutton to view the previous record.

       Select the “Next” pushbutton to view the next record.

       Select the Cancel Request to cancel the request.
