Authorizing Changes in Disability Information
Select the required employee code hyperlink to authorize the changes in the disability information.
The “Authorize Changes in Disability Information ” page appears.
The system displays the following from the previous page.
Date Format |
The date that is applicable to the login user. More Details |
Employee |
The name and unique code of the employee. The system displays the value selected in the “Select Employee” page. |
Request Status |
The request status is displayed as any one of the following:

Employee Remarks |
The remarks entered by the employee. |
The system displays the following in the multiline.
Edit the following details in the “Disability Information” multiline, if required.
Disability |
The name of the disability, for example, eye injury, knee dislocation, head injury etc. From the drop-down list box, select the required value. The system lists in the drop-down list box, the user defined disability descriptions from the quick codes component. |
Disability From |
The date from which the employee is affected with the stated disability. |
Disability To |
The date till which the employee is affected with the stated disability. |
Extent |
The extent to which the disability affects the employee’s performance at work. Specify if the disability is complete or only partial. The system displays the values such as, “Complete” or “Partial” in the drop-down list box. Select the required value. |
Temporary |
The nature of the disability, whether temporary or permanent. From the drop-down list box, select the required value, either “Yes” or “No”. “Yes” indicates the disability is only temporary, “No” indicates it is of a permanent nature. |
Assessed |
Indicates if the disability has been medically assessed or otherwise. From the drop-down list box, select the required value, either “Yes” or “No”. “Yes” indicates the disability has been assessed medically, “No” indicates otherwise. |
Concessions |
The concessions that can be granted to an employee based on the details specified for the corresponding disability. For example, an employee with a minor injury to the hand might temporarily be exempted from work that involves the use of his injured hand. Specify the concessions in the free text field. |
Enter the Authorizer's Remarks below the multiline.
To authorize the disability information
Select the “Authorize” pushbutton to authorize the disability information.
The system updates the status to "Authorized" in the multiline.
To reject the disability information
Select the "Reject" pushbutton to reject the disability information.
The system updates the status to "Rejected" in the multiline.
To proceed
Select the "View Current Record" link to view the current record
