The system displays the following details.

Date Format

The date format defined for the login user in the “User Permissions”. Tell me more

Employment Unit

The employment unit selected in the previous page.

The following details of the employee selected in the “Select Employee to Request” page are displayed.

Employee

The code and name of the employee to whom the items / property is to be provided.

Applicant

The Applicant ID and the name of the newly recruited employee to whom item / property is to be provided.

Department

The long description of the department in which the employee works.

Position Title

The title of the position the employee occupies.

To record item request

Item Type

From the drop down list box, select the item type for the item.

Item Description

From the drop down list box, select the item / property to be issued to the selected employee.

All the items for the selected item type are displayed in the list.

The system displays the selected item type and item description in the multiline.

The system generates values in the following fields.

Request Status

The current status of the request: “Requested”.

Request Date

The date on which the request was saved.

This date is set to the current date.

To modify item request

Item Type

From the drop down list box, select the item type for the item.

Item

From the drop down list box, select the item.

All the items for the selected item type are displayed in the list.

Requested Status

From the drop down list box, select the status of the request.

The status you must select is “Requested”.

Note: You cannot modify a request that has a status of “Issued” or “Returned”.

Requested Date

The date on which the request was saved.

The system displays the following details in the multiline: “Item Type”, “Item Description”, “Request Status”, “Requested Date” and “Remarks”.

To cancel item request

Item Type

From the drop down list box, select the item type for the item.

Item

From the drop down list box, select the item.

All the items for the selected item type are displayed in the list.

Requested Status

From the drop down list box, select the status of the request.

The status to be selected is “Requested”.

Note: You cannot delete a request that has a status of “Issued” or “Returned”.

The system displays the following details in the multiline: “Item Type”, “Item Description”, “Request Status”, “Requested Date” and “Remarks”. The dates on which the property was issued to employee / recovered from employee are also displayed, if any.
