Recording employee Provident Fund details
Select the hyperlinked employee name to record the Provident Fund details of the employee.
The "Record Employee Provident Fund Details” page appears.
The system displays the following from the previous page.
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit of the employee. |
Employee |
The employee code and the name of the employee. |
Employee Type |
The type of the employee. Example, consultant, contract |
Position Title |
The title of the position held by the employee. |
Department |
The department to which the employee belongs. |
Gradeset |
The gradeset of the employee. |
Unit/Work Location |
The unit/work location of the employee. |
Date of Birth |
The date of birth of the employee. |
Date of Joining |
The date on which the employee joined the organization. |
Date of Separation |
The date of separation of the employee, if the employee is separated from the organization. |
Enter the following.
Date of Joining Previous PF |
The date on which the employee joined as a new member of the Provident Fund in any of the previous organizations. If the employee is a new member to the Provident Fund, you can leave this field blank. |
To record employee PF details
Enter the following details in the multiline.
PF Trust |
From the drop-down list box, select the PF trust. All the Provident Fund trusts defined in the “Record Provident Trust Details” activity are loaded in the PF trust drop-down list box. |
PF Number |
The PF number of the employee. |
EPS Applicable |
From the drop-down list box, select “Yes” to indicate that Employee Pension Scheme is applicable. Otherwise select “No”. Note that the value in this field overrides the status of the EPS applicable already recorded in the PF Trust Definition page. |
EPS Number |
The Employee Pension Scheme (EPS) number of the employee, if EPS is applicable for the employee. |
Inactive |
From the drop-down list box, select any one of the following statuses of the PF details § “Yes” indicates that the employee is not making any contribution towards the Provident Fund account, in the selected PF Trust. § “No” indicates that the employee is making a contribution towards the Provident Fund account in the selected PF Trust |
Date of Joining PF |
The date of joining the Provident Fund account in the current organization. |
Contribution Termination Date |
The last date on which the employee makes the contribution towards the Provident Fund account, in the selected PF Trust. |
Remarks |
Any remark pertaining to the employee PF details. |
Enter the remarks, if any, below the multiline.
Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details entered.
The system displays the following.
Settlement Status |
The settlement status may be “Settled” if the PF amount is settled or ‘Partly Settled’ if the PF amount is partly settled if the employee requests the Provident Fund trust. Otherwise this field is blank. This data is retrieved from the “Record PF Settlement Details” activity. |
Date of Settlement of PF |
The date on which the PF trust makes the final settlement of Provident Fund for the employee. This date appears only if the Settlement Status is “Settled”. |
Select the employee whose employee provident fund details are to be deleted from the “Select Employee for Recording PF Details” page.
Select the checkbox adjacent to the PF details record that has to be deleted in the multiline.
Select the “Delete” pushbutton.
The system deletes the provident fund details of the employee.
