Separation Information
Select “Separation Information” activity under the “Employee Information Management – Bulk”.
The “Maintain Employee Separation Details” page appears.
Enter the following field details in the header:
Client Code |
From the drop-down list box, select the code of the client. |
Client Name |
The name of the client is displayed on selecting the client code. |
Service Location |
The Service Location is displayed on selecting the client code. If there are multiple service locations then select from the combo but if there is only one service location then that will be defaulted. |
Enter the following field details under “Search Criteria” in the header:
Employee Code From/Effective Code To |
Enter the employee code range From and To of the employee Help facility available |
Department |
On selecting the employee code, the “Department” is displayed by default. From the drop-down list box, you are also allowed to select the department type. The combo is loaded with various values for you to choose. |
Store/Branch/Office |
On selecting the client code, the “Store/Branch/Office” is displayed by default. From the drop-down list box, you are also allowed to select the employee’s store/office/branch. The combo is loaded with various options for you to choose. |
DOJ From/Date To |
The date of joining From and To range for the search criteria. |
Contract Start Date From |
The date from which the contract for employment has started |
Contract Start Date To |
The date till which the contract for employment has started. |
Separation Status |
From the drop-down list box, select the status of the contract separation. The combo is loaded with the values “Authorized”, “New” and “Pending for Authorization”. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |
Click the “Show Details” push button. The system displays the “Employee Code”, “Employee Name” and “Status”, details in the “Maintain Employee Separation Details” multiline.
Enter the following field details in the “Maintain Employee Separation Details” multiline:
Status |
The status of the selected record. The status may be “Success” or “Error” depending on the selected record. |
Resigned Date |
The date on which the employee has resigned. Mandatory. |
Last Working Date |
The last working date of the employee. Mandatory. |
Notice Period in Days |
The period of notice in days. Mandatory. |
Notice Period Waiver |
From the drop-down list box, select the required option to waive off the notice period. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” and “No” for you to choose. Mandatory. |
Employee Separation Reason |
From the drop-down list box, select the required reason for employee separation. The combo is loaded with various reasons for you to choose. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |
Employer Separation Reason |
From the drop-down list box, select the required reason for employer separation. The combo is loaded with various reasons for you to choose. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |
Exit Interview Conducted By |
The name of the person who conducted the exit interview. |
Process Period for F and F Settlement |
The process period for Full and Final settlement. Help facility available |
Remarks |
Key in any remarks or feedback. |
Error Remarks |
Any error while creating the record is listed in this field. |
Select the required field and click “Submit” to submit the details entered.
Note: On saving the selected record, the “Notice Period Recoverable Days” and “Separation Status” get displayed.
Notice Period Recoverable Days |
The recoverable notice period balance in days. On saving the selected record, it is automatically calculated and displayed. |
Separation Status |
The status of the contract separation. On saving the selected record, it is automatically calculated and displayed. |
Click “Authorize” to authorize the contract separation.
Note: On clicking “Authorize”, the system will check for all the mandatory validations and the selected employee will be inactive within the effective date and the “Separation Status” will be changed as “Authorized”.
