EI - Letters & Reports
Select the “EI - Letters & Reports” activity under the “Employee Induction - Reports” business component.
The “EI - Letters & Reports” page appears.
The system displays the following in the header:
Date Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Enter the following in the header:
Reporting Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the reporting unit for which you require to generate the report. |
Employment Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the employment unit for which you require to generate the report. |
To specify letter input type details
Enter the following details in the “Letter Input Type” group box:
Signatory Code |
The employee code of the signatory authority. |

Effective Date |
The date from which revised salary is effective. |
Report Generation Status |
From the drop-down list box, select the status of the report generation. The combo is loaded with the options “Draft” and “Final”. The user can generate the report in “Draft” status for review purpose before finally generated. |
To specify search criteria
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Employee Code From |
The unique code of the employee from which you require to generate the report. |

The unique code of the employee until which you require to generate the report. |

The unique code of the department to which the employee belongs. |

Department Description |
The description of the department for which you require to generate the report. |

The job code of the employee for which you require to generate the report. |

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the employee details in the multiline.
The system displays the following in the “Revised Salary Details” multiline:

The unique code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee. |
Position Title |
The position title of the employee. |
Job Title |
The job title of the employee. |
Grade Set |
The grade set of the employee. |
Grade |
The grade of the employee. |
Department |
The unique code of the department to which the employee belongs. |
Work location |
The work location of the employee. |

To generate the salary revision letter
Select the “Generate Letter” pushbutton to generate the salary revision letters.
