Use this page to select an employee for recording assignments.
Select “Record Employee Assignment” from the left pane.
The “Select Employee to Record Assignment” page appears.
The system displays the following field at the top of the page:
Date & Time Format |
The date format applicable to the login user. |
Enter the following in the "Employment Unit Details" group box:
Employment Unit |
Select the desired employment unit group from which the employee records must be fetched, from the drop-down list box. |
The system displays the following in the “Employment Unit Details” group box:
Company |
The company to which the employee belongs. |
Enter the following in the “Direct Entry” group box:
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the employee code. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.
To specify the search criteria, you can enter one or more characters that the employee code contains. Optionally, you can enter the employee name, employee type, assignment no, position title, department, job title and record status to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported.
Enter the following "Search Criteria" values in some or all of the following fields:
Employee Code |
To view a particular employee code, type in the code of the employee. |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: ECC1*, will search for those employee codes that start with ECC1. Other examples are *ECC1 and EC*C1. |
Employee Name |
To view all the employee names containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names in any combination with wild cards. Example: To get Jonathan, type in JO*, to search for those employee names that start with JO. Other examples are *NATHAN, JO*AN, and JONATH*. |
Date of Joining From |
To view all the records from a particular date of joining, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names in any combination with wild cards. |
Date of Joining To |
To view all the records till a particular date of joining, type in the starting character or characters of these employee names in any combination with wild cards. |
Position Title |
To view a particular position title, type in the position title. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: MGR*, will search for those employee codes that start with MGR. Other examples are *MGR and M*R |
Department |
To view a particular department, type in the starting characters of the department. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: FIN*, will search for those employee codes that start with FIN. |
Job Title |
To view a particular job record, type in the starting character of the job Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example: PRG*, will search for those employee codes that start with PRG. |
Employees with/without Assignment |
Select the appropriate value from the drop-down list box.

Get seperated employees only

Select this checkbox to view the records of seperated employees only. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the employee details in the multiline.
Note: To perform an effective search, enter maximum number of fields in the search criteria.
The system displays the following results in the "Search Results" multiline.
Employee Code |
The unique code of the employee. |
Employee Name |
The name of the selected employee. |
Date Of Joining |
The date on which the employee joined the organization |
Time Of Joining |
The time at which employee joined the organization. |
Position Title |
The position title of the employee. |
Department |
The department to which the employee belongs. |
Job Title |
The job title of the employee. |
