Viewing Employee Salary Details
Ensure that you are in the “Select Employee Assignment to View Salary Details” page.
Select the employee whose compensation structure is to be viewed by selecting the corresponding employee code in the multiline.
The “View Employee Salary Details” page appears
In direct entry
Enter the complete code of the employee in the “Employee Code” field.
Select the “View Employee Salary Details” hyperlink beside the employee code field.
The system displays the “View Employee Salary Details” page.
In search criteria
Use the search facility to fetch the required view in the multiline.
Select the data hyperlink on the code of the required employee.
The system displays the “View Employee Salary Details” page.
The system displays the following details.
Employee |
The code and name of the employee. |
Position |
The position to which the employee is mapped. |
Department |
The department to which the employee belongs. |
Assignment No. |
The assignment number of the employee |
Job |
The job description of the employee |
Work Location |
The location at which the employee works. |
Grade Set |
The grade set of the employee |
Grade |
The grade of the employee |
Date of Joining |
The date on which the employee joins the organization. |
Currency |
The currency in which the employee is paid. |
Viewing Effective Dates
You can use the “Access Data History” group box to view the effective dates of the previous versions of the contact information view.
Effective From |
The date from which the salary details view has come into effect. For the latest salary details record, the date on which the details are defined is defaulted as the Effective From date. If the record has been modified one or more times using the “Update” option, the New Effective From date and time provided during each modification will be displayed as the Effective From value for the particular record. The New Effective From date and time provided during the latest modification is displayed as the Effective From date for the current version of the view. |
Effective To |
The date till which the salary details record is valid. For the latest record, the Effective To field will be blank. If the record has been modified one or more times using the “Update” option, the system closes the existing view with the Effective To value as one minute previous to the New Effective From date and time specified during each modification. Hence, the Effective To value for any view will be one minute prior to the New Effective From value of the succeeding version of the view. The Effective To value for the latest version of the record is blank. |
Select the “Previous” pushbutton to view the effective dates of the previous version of the record.
Select the “Next” pushbutton to view the effective dates of the next version of the record.
To view the pay element values
You can view the pay element values applicable to the employee in the “Pay Element Values” multiline.

The system displays the pay element. |

The description of the pay element. |
Value |
The value against the pay element. |
Periodicity |
The periodicity may be hourly/monthly/weekly. This will be the frequency or the periodicity at which the amount will be paid against the pay element. |
Remarks |
The remarks pertaining to the pay element. |
The system displays the following.
Minimum CTC
|
The minimum CTC applicable to the employee. This value is defined in the “Record Grade Based Salary Structure for the selected grade set – grade – work location |
Maximum CTC |
The maximum CTC applicable to the employee. This value is also defined in the “Record Grade Based Salary Structure for the selected grade set – grade – work location |
Computed CTC |
The system displays the sum of the amount of all the pay elements in a year. This will be the CTC (Cost to the Company) applicable to the employee. |
The system displays the comments pertaining to the employee's salary.
