Viewing internal equity

Ensure that you are in the “Select Employee Assignment for Authorizing Compensation Details” page.
Select “View Internal Equity” hyperlink at the bottom left of the page.
The “View Internal Equity” page appears.
The system displays the following fields at the top right of the page.

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user.

The system displays the following:

Employment Unit	The employment unit to which the employee is attached.
Employee Code	The unique employee code of the employee.
Employee Name	The name of the employee.
Assignment No	The new assignment number of the employee.
Position	The description of the position of the employee.
Department	The description of the department to which the employee is attached, for example, HR or Finance .
Job Title	The title of the employee’s job.
Work Location	The work location of the employee.
Grade Set	The description of the grade set applicable to the employee’s job.
Grade	The grade applicable to the employee’s job.

To view the compensation details of other employees who have some or all of the following attributes in common with the selected employee, check the following in the “Search Criteria” group box.
The system displays the details even if one of the qualification parameters matches for other employees.

Department-Job	Select the check box, if you want to view the compensation details of all other employees having the same department-job combination as that of the selected employee.
Grade Set-Grade	Select the check box, if you want to view the compensation details of all other employees who are assigned the same grade set and grade as that of the selected employee.
Job	Select the check box, if you want to view the compensation details of all other employees who are assigned the same job as that of the selected employee
Qualifications	Select the check box, if you want to view the compensation details of all other employees possessing the same qualifications as that of the selected employee.
Years of Experience From	To view the compensation details of other employees having the same experience as the selected employee, specify the minimum years of internal experience that the other employees must possess.
To	To view the compensation details of all other employees having the same experience as the selected employee, specify the maximum years of internal experience that the other employees must possess.

To view internal equity details

The employee records that satisfy the search criteria are listed in the multiline. The multiline displays the following fields:

Employee Code	The unique code that identifies the employee.
Employee Name	The name of the employee.
Assignment No	The assignment number of the employee, for which the compensation is defined.
Base Salary	The basic salary that is defined for the employee, for this assignment.
Base Salary Currency	The currency in which the base salary is paid to the employee.
Gross Compensation	The standard salary of the employee, without taking attendance, awards and other non-payables of employee compensation into account.
Gross Compensation Currency	The currency in which the gross compensation is paid to the employee.
Payroll	The code of the payroll that the system uses, to process the salary of the employee.
Payset	The code of the payset whose pay structure is applicable for the employee’s pay.
For Process Period	The process period for which the corresponding employee’s payroll is processed.
