The “Client Parameters” screen enables you to record general parameters including Pay Elements, Leave Types and Insurance Policies applicable for the client to further down the line process.

The “Maintain Client Parameters” page appears.

Client Code

From the drop-down list box, select the code of the client.

The system displays the following in the header:

Client Name

The name of the client.

The “Maintain Client Parameters” page consists of the following tabs.

Tab – Parameters

The “Parameters” tab enables you to enter certain parameters as per the metadata like Minimum Age for Employment, Standard Hours of Working, Default Contract Extension Period and ESS rights. 

Minimum Age

(in Years)

The minimum age limit of the client.

 

Maximum Age

(in Years)

The maximum age limit of the client.                   .

Access Rights for ESS

The Value ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to get access rights for ESS.

Reminder for contract extension to be given before (Days)

The reminder for the extension of contract period in Days.

If Contract Extension not acted upon, action to be taken

The value should be ‘Terminated’ or ‘Auto Extension’ depending on whether the contract is extended or not.

Default Extension Period

The minimum period for extension of contract in Days.

 

Contract Extension Period Maximum (Days)

The maximum period for extension of contract in Days.

PF Ceiling Applicable

‘Yes’ if PF is applicable else ‘No’.

Notice Period in Days

Period of notice in Days.

Attendance Cutoff Date

The cutoff date for attendance (should be non-zero and in positive number).

Note: Additional parameters can be added using the metadata.

Tab - Pay Elements

The “Pay Elements” tab enables you to map the pay elements applicable to the client for Pay Roll and Applicant CTC entry. In addition to this all Non-Payable, Fixed, Variable and Recurring Pay Elements can also be mapped. You can also maintain history of the changes in the Pay Elements mapping.

Sequence No.

The Sequence Number. Mandatory.

Pay Element

The Pay Elements applicable for the client. Mandatory.

Help facility available

Wage Type

From the drop-down list box, select the type of wage from the system defined quick codes. The combo is loaded with the values “Deduction”, “Fixed”, “Not Applicable”, “Non-Payable”, “Non-Recurring” and “Variable”.  Mandatory.

Effective From

The date from which the pay elements are effective. Mandatory.

Effective To

The date till which the pay elements are effective.

Tab – Leave Type

The “Leave Type” tab enables you to map the leave types as per the leave types created in the master which is applicable to the client for employee leave management process. You are allowed to define values like entitlement units, encashment and values for carry over if applicable against each leave type and also track history of changes made in the leave type to client mapping. 

Leave Type

From the drop-down list box, select the type of leave. The combo is loaded with the values “Casual Leave”, “Earned Leave”, “Loss of Pay Leave” and “Sick Leave”. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory.

Inactive

From the drop-down list box, select the required option. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” and “No”. Mandatory.

Entitlement Based

From the drop-down list box, select the required option. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” and “No”. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory.

Entitlement Units

The number of units or leave entitled for the employee. Mandatory.

Per Calendar Days

The number of leaves allocated per calendar year in Days. Mandatory.

Accrual Before Process Period

From the drop-down list box, select the accrual at the beginning of the process period. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” and “No”. Mandatory.

Carryover

From the drop-down list box, select the required option for the leave carryover. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” and “No”. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory.

Maximum Carryover Units

The maximum leaves that can be carried over. Mandatory.

Encashment

From the drop-down list box, select the required option for encashment. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” and “No”. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory.

Maximum Encashment Units

The maximum leaves that can be encashed. Mandatory.

Modification Option

From the drop-down list box, select the required option. The combo is loaded with the values “Correct” and “Upgrade”. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page.

New Effective From

The date from which the leave is effective. Mandatory.

Tab - Insurance       

The “Insurance” tab enables you to map the different policies applicable to the client as defined in the Insurance Master. You are allowed to record employer contribution for a particular policy in percentage and track history of changes made in the leave type for client mapping.

Policy

From the drop-down list box, select the policy type.

The type of policy.

Coverage Category

 

The category of coverage for that particular policy.

Coverage Level

The level of coverage for that particular policy.

Employer Contribution

The employer contribution percentage. Mandatory.

Modification Option

From the drop-down list box, select the required modification option. The combo is loaded with the values “Correct” and “Update”. The system displays “Select” by default on launch of the page.

New Effective From

The date from which the policy is effective. Mandatory.

Effective To

The date till which the policy is effective.
