This page allows you  to select a plan type in which you want to enroll.

To select through search criteria

Use this method, if you know just a few characters of the plan code or the plan description. In the search criteria group box, specify the search criteria based on which the system will fetch the records.

To specify the search criteria, you must enter one or more characters that the “Plan code”, “Plan description contain. You can also specify the participation dates of the plans, to narrow your search. Search based on wild card characters is also supported. Apart from specifying above fields, you can also narrow the search by specifying the type of life event. The system fetches the employee records that match the combination of search criteria specified. To increase the probability of finding the closest matching records, you can specify values for as many details as possible.

In the search criteria, you can also specify whether you would like to view all the plans eligible for an employee or all plans that are eligible for the employee and are open for enrollment.

Plan Category

From the drop-down list box, select the plan category to which the plan is mapped. The drop-down list box displays the following values namely Health", "Life & AD\D", "Disability", "FSA" and "Savings". By default the system will display with a “Select” value.

Plan Code

The unique code that identifies a plan. To view all the plan codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character or characters of these plan codes.

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example:  Plan1*, will search for those employee codes that start with Plan1. Other examples are *AN1 and PL*N1.

Plan Description

To view the details of all the plan descriptions specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the short description.

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Exe-plan*, will search for those Plans short descriptions that start with Exe- plan*,. Other examples are *plan, Exe*l, and xe-pl*

Participation From Date

The date on or after which the employee can participate in the plan. For example, if you enter 09/16/01, the system fetches list of all the plans whose participation date starts from the specified date.

Participation To Date

The date till which the employee has participated in the plan. For example, if you enter 11/11/01, the system fetches all the plan records whose participation date(s) end on the specified date.

Note: To indicate the probable period in which the employee has participated, enter both the From and To dates. The system fetches the records of plans that started during the period.

Life Events

From the “Life Events” drop-down list box select the event that will drive the plan. The drop-down list box will display list of all the life events that are applicable to various plans. These are defined in the “HRMS General Masters” component. Examples are marriage, separation, birth, death etc.

All Plans

Select the “All Plans” check box, to indicate that all the plans eligible for the employee must be displayed

Plans Open for Enrollment

Select the “Plans open for Enrollment” check box to indicate that only those plans are displayed by the system that are open for enrollment.

Note: If only one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records that satisfy this value.
If more than one search criteria value is entered, the system will fetch the records satisfying all the specified values.
If you do not enter any value in the search criteria group box and select the “Search” pushbutton, the system will fetch all the records that are applicable

Plan Category

The category to which the plan is mapped.

Plan Code

The unique code that identifies the plan.

Plan

The description of the plan.

Participation From Date

The date from which the plan is open for enrollment.

Participation To Date

The date until which the plan is open for enrollment..

Status

The system displays “Enrolled” to indicate that the employee has enrolled in the plan. Otherwise the system will display with a blank value.
