Maintain BPO Contract Amendments
Select the “Maintain BPO Contract Amendments” activity under the component “BPO Project Execution”.
The “Maintain BPO Contract Amendments” page appears.
Note: This page is accessible only if the SRP BPO applicable parameter is set as “Yes” in Set Process Parameters activity of HR Process Parameters component under HR Setup.
Enter the following field details in the header:
Organization Unit |
From the drop-down list box, select the login organization unit. The login OU is defaulted on launch of the page. Mandatory. |
Customer |
From the drop-down list box, select the customer code and customer name. The combo is loaded with customers who are applicable in the relevant login OU from finance customer masters component. On selecting the customer, the customer name is defaulted. |
Date Format |
The date format is displayed. For Example: DD/MM/YYYY, DD/MMM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY. |
Enter the following field details in the “Contract Details” section:
Contract Number |
From the drop-down list box, select the contract number and contract name. The combo is loaded with various contract numbers and contract name associated to the selected customer. Mandatory. Note: The contract number is auto generated unique number and cannot exceed 10 characters. |
Type of Document |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of document The combo is loaded with values “Addendum” and “Amendment”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |
Line Number |
From the drop-down list box, select the line number. The combo is loaded with line numbers created in “Services Covered in the Contract” tab of “Maintain BPO Services Contract” page if the type of document is “Amendment”. The combo is loaded with “new” if the type of document is “Addendum”. Mandatory |
Amendment Number |
From the drop-down list box, select the amendment number. The combo is loaded with amendment numbers if the type of document is “Amendment”. The combo is loaded with “0” if the type of document is “Addendum”. |
Amendment Description |
Enter the description of amendment. |
Amended On |
The amended date on which the version was created is displayed. |
Modification Option |
From the drop-down list box, select the required option. The combo is loaded with the values “Correct”, “Update” and “New”. On screen launch it will be blank and on selecting type of document as Addendum it will default as New. Mandatory |
Effective From |
The date from which the amendment is effective. Mandatory if the modification option is “New” or “Update”. |
Contract Effective From |
The effective date of the contract is displayed. |
Service Description |
Enter the description of service. Mandatory |
Remarks |
Enter the remarks related to line number. |
Billing Rule |
From the drop-down list box, select the billing rule. The combo is loaded with “Flat FTE / Hourly”, “Outcome Moving Average”, “Outcome based”, “Productivity based FTE / Hourly”, “Transaction based” and “Transaction Slab based” if the document type is “Addendum”. If the document type is “Amendment, the billing rule against which the contract chosen for amendment will default on select of Line Number. Mandatory. Note: The billing rule cannot be changed once PO / SOW is created or related rate card against version 0 is created. It cannot be changed in amendment versions. |
Rate Card |
Enter the rate card ID. This ID is auto generated if the type of document is addendum. This ID is defaulted from “Maintain BPO Services Contract” activity for version 0 if the type of document is amendment. Note: This ID is used in rate card during creation of rates against relevant contract line number. Rate card id can be associated to only one contract line number combination. |
Signed Status |
From the drop-down list box, select the signed status. The combo is loaded with values as in “Maintain Quick Codes” activity of “HR General Information” component. Mandatory. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. Mandatory. |
Physical SOW Needed |
Check this box to indicate whether the line number is supported by physical SOW or not. |
PO / SOW Number |
The PO / SOW number is displayed. |
Go Live Date |
Enter the Go Live date. Note: The entered date should not be before Effective From date. |
Select the required row and click “Save” to save the entered details.
The system saves the amendment details and generates the new line number if the type of document is Addendum and increments the amendment number if the type of document is Amendment and modification option is update.
Note: On amendment the rate card id is blank and on update the new id will be generated.
Click “Delete” to delete the entered details.
The system deletes the contract line number amendment version.
Note: The contract line number amendment version greater than zero cannot be deleted if the invoice has been generated for the contract line number. The contract line number amendment version zero can be deleted only if it is not associated to any project. If zero amendment version is deleted, the system deletes the relevant PO / SOW along with customer locations mapped to the PO / SOW.

Enter the following details in the multiline:
Attachment Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the attachment type of the contract. The combo is loaded with values as in “Maintain Quick Codes” activity of “HR General Information” component. Mandatory if you want to attach a document. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
Attachment |
Click The “Upload File” dialog box appears. Ø Enter the file ID and click “Browse” to attach the document. Ø Click “Upload” to attach the document. Ø Click “Delete File” to delete the document. Click the Data hyperlink to view the attachment. |
Remarks |
Any remarks related to attachments. |

Tab: History
Enter the following details in the multiline:
Date of Change |
Enter the date of change. Mandatory if any other column in this multiline is entered. |
Change Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of change. The combo is loaded with values as in “Maintain Quick Codes” activity of “HR General Information” component. Mandatory if any other column in this multiline is entered. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
Description of Change |
Enter the description of change. Mandatory if any other column in this multiline is entered. |

The login ID of the user who created the contract details. |

The date and time on which the contract details was created. |
