Through this activity, you can specify parameter setup details for the specified statutory category. You can specify the Australia statutory setup unit and the statutory category for the parameter. You can provide the parameter value for the selected parameter type. Apart from creating the parameter details, you can also modify the details specified earlier.
Through this activity, you will be able to do the following:
To record additional statutory details, select Statutory → Australia Statutory Master Setup → Additional Statutory from the Business Process menu.
Choose an Option from the Australia Statutory Setup Unit combo.
Choose an Option from the Statutory Category combo to define the parameter value.
Note: If you choose, Employee Termination Category option from the Statutory Category combo, the system retrieves and displays the following Parameter Types
Tax free limit for current income year
Tax free limit for each completed year
Tax rate for NO TFN, Resident
Tax rate for NO TFN, Non-resident
Rate for payments after 12 months
If you choose, Tax Offset option from the Statutory Category combo, the system retrieves and displays the following Parameter Types
First child age criteria for zone offs
Student child age criteria for zone offs
If you choose, PAYG option from the Statutory Category combo, the system retrieves and displays the following Parameter Types
Senior Australian female age criteria
Senior Australian male age criteria
If you choose, Additional Super Annuation Category option from the Statutory Category combo, the system retrieves and displays the following Parameter Type
Super guarantee rate
If you choose, unused Leave Payment Rates option from the Statutory Category combo, the system retrieves and displays the following Parameter Type
Lump sum A
Lump Sum B marginal rate on total
Rate when no TFN Resident
Rate when no TFN Non – Resident

In the multiline, choose an Option from Parameter Type combo.
Enter the Parameter Value against the chosen Parameter Type.
In the Modification Details section, choose Update option from Modification Option combo to save the details with the current effective date.
Enter the New Effective From date to validate the records.
Enter relevant Remarks that pertain to the additional statutory details.
Click the Submit to save the additional statutory details.
To edit additional statutory details, select Statutory → Australia Statutory Master Setup → Additional Statutory from the Business Process menu.
Choose an Option from the Australia Statutory Setup Unit combo.
In the Access History section, choose the Effective Period combo to access the history with the effective dates.
The system retrieves and displays entire details of the Additional Statutory. Make required modifications to the data displayed. Refer Fields in this Screen topic for an explanation of the fields displayed.
In the Modification Details section, choose Correct option from Modification Option combo to save the modified details with the current effective date.
Note: Modification Option: While modifying the rate tables, you can use one of the two available modification options viz., “Correct” and “Update”. If you choose the Correct option, the changes you make will come into effect in the existing record itself. If you choose the Update option, the system closes the existing version of the record and will create a new record containing the changes you make. You are to specify a new effective date, which will become the effective date for the new record.
Enter relevant Remarks that pertain to the additional statutory details.
Click the Submit to save the modified additional statutory details.
