Employer Details

This activity allows you to record the employer details. You can specify the organizational details such as employer type, business or trading name, branch number, trustee or senior partner name, tax file number of the organization, address of the organization, employer category, employer group and contact person details. You can provide the bank state branch number, account number and account name of the employer.

Procedure

To record new employer details

  1. To record employer details select Statutory Australia Statutory Administration Employer Details from the Business Process menu.

  2. Choose the option from the Australia Statutory Setup Unit combo. The system displays the currency of the selected OU.

  3. In the Access History section, choose the option from the Effective Period combo to access the history with the effective dates.

  4. In the Organisational Details section, choose an option to specify the type of employer. The system lists Individual, Non-Individual, Partnership and Trust as options.

  5. Enter the business or trading name of the organization.

  6. Enter the branch number of the organization.

  7. Choose an option to specify the title of Trustee or Senior Partner. The system lists Mr, Mrs, Miss and Ms as options.

  8. Enter the first and last name of the trustee or senior partner.

  9. Enter the name of the employer other than the given name.

  10. Choose an option to specify the title of employer. The system lists Mr, Mrs, Miss and Ms as options.

  11. Enter the first and last name of the employer.

  12. Enter the name of the employer other than the given name.

  13. Enter the tax file number of the employer.

  14. Enter the Australian business number of the employer.

  15. Enter the Withholding payer number of the employer.

  16. Enter the first, second and third line address of the organization.

  17. Choose an option to specify the state in which the organization exists. A list of user defined states is displayed as options.

  18. Choose an option to specify the city in which the organization exists. The list of cities that have been mapped to the selected state is displayed as options.

  19. Enter the name of the area where the organization is located.

  20. Enter the post code of the address.

  21. Choose an option from the employer category to which the employer details are to be recorded. The system lists Exempt, Interstate Group, Interstate Non-Group, Local Group and Local Non-Group as options.

  22. Choose an option from the status of the employer group to which the employer details are to be recorded. The system lists Designated Group Employer, Individual Employer, Non-Designated Group Employer and None as options.

  23. Enter the name of the contact person.

  24. Enter the phone number of the contact person.

  25. Enter the email ID of the contact person.

  26. In the Financial Details section, enter the number of the bank state branch.

  27. Enter the account number and account name of the employer.

  28. In the Modification Details section, choose Correct option from Modification Option combo to save the modified details with current effective date.

  29. Choose Update option from Modification Option combo to update the modified details with new effective date.

Note: While modifying, you can use one of the two available modification options viz., "Correct" and "Update". If you choose the Correct option, the changes you make will come into effect in the existing record itself. If you choose the Update option, the system closes the existing version of the record and will create a new record containing the changes you make. You are to specify a new effective date which will become the effective date for the new record.

  1. Enter the New Effective From date to validate the updated the records.

  2. Enter relevant Remarks that pertaining to the employer details.

  3. Click Submit to save the employer details.

Note: The system saves the employer details.
