Employee Superannuation Information

This activity enables you to record employee superannuation information for Australia statutory unit. You can specify the superannuation fund details of the employee for the effective period. You can attach the file required for the superannuation fund. You can also modify the details specified earlier.

Objective

Through this activity, you will be able to do the following:

Procedure

To record employee superannuation information

  1. To record employee superannuation information, select Statutory Australia Statutory Administration Employee Superannuation Information from the Business Process menu.

  2. Choose an option from the Australia Statutory Setup Unit combo to record the employee superannuation fund details.

  3. In the Search Criteria section, enter the Employee Code to which the superannuation fund details have to be recorded. Click on the Help icon to retrieve the employee code from Help on Employee screen. The system displays the employee name.

  4. Click Get to retrieve the employee details. The system displays the employee fund details.

  5. In the Access History section, choose the Effective Period combo to access the history with the effective dates.

  6. In the Fund Details section, choose Default from Fund Option combo to default the already defined fund details for the employee.

  7. Choose My Choice from Fund Option combo to define the employee’s choice of fund details.

  8. Enter the Fund Name which is to be recorded for the employee. Click the lens icon to retrieve the superannuation fund details from the Help on Superannuation Fund screen.

  9. Enter the Member Number for the fund if applicable.

  10. In the Attachments section, Enter the Document Name of the superannuation fund. Click the Folder icon, to browse and select the file to attach.

  11. In the Modification Details section, choose Correct option from Modification Option combo to save the modified details with the current effective date.

  12. Choose Update option from Modification Option combo to update the modified details with the new effective date.

Note: Modification Option: While modifying the fund details, you can use one of the two available modification options viz., “Correct” and “Update”. If you choose the Correct option, the changes you make will come into effect in the existing record itself. If you choose the Update option, the system closes the existing version of the record and will create a new record containing the changes you make. You are to specify a new effective date, which will become the effective date for the new record. 

  1. Enter the New Effective From date to validate the updated records.

  2. Enter relevant Remarks that pertain to the superannuation fund details.

  3. Click the Submit to save the employee superannuation information.

To edit employee superannuation information

  1. To edit Employee Superannuation Information, select Statutory Australia Statutory Administration Employee Superannuation Information from the Business Process menu.

  2. Choose option from the Australia Statutory Setup Unit combo.

  3. In the Search Criteria section, enter the Employee Code to get the details of the selected employee. Click on the Help icon to retrieve the employee code from Help on Employee screen.

  4. Click Get to retrieve the employee details. The system displays the employee name and fund details.

The system retrieves and displays entire details of the specified employee code. Make required modifications to the data displayed. Refer Fields in this Screen topic for an explanation of the fields displayed.

  1. In the Modification Details section, choose Correct option from Modification Option combo to save the modified details with the current effective date.

Choose the option for defining the superannuation fund. The options are Default and My choice.

If you choose Default then the system would fetch and populate the fund name from Superannuation Fund Master for which 'Employer Default' is set as ‘Yes’.

If you choose My Choice then the system allows you to enter the fund name that is not an Employer Default.
