Viewing the employee appraisal objectives
Select the “View Employee Appraisal Objectives” link from the left pane,or
Alternatively in the multiline of the “View Appraiser Mapping” page”, check the “Select” box containing the appraiser for whom objectives are to be viewed.
Select the “View Objectives” link.
The “View Employee Appraisal Objectives” page appears.
The system displays the following
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit of the login employee. |
Employee Code |
The employee code of the login employee. |
Enter the following
Assignment No. |
The number of the employee’s assignment, for which he requires to view objectives |
Appraisal Type |
The type of appraisal for which the objectives have been defined. It could be one of the following:

Appraisal Calendar Code |
The code of the appraisal calendar in which the employee’s appraisal falls. Help available. |
Calendar Short Description |
If the Appraisal Calendar Code was selected through Help, the system displays a short description of the appraisal calendar. |
The following fields are displayed
Period From |
The start date of the appraisal calendar. |
Period To |
The end date of the appraisal calendar. |
Enter the following
Appraiser |
From the drop-down list box, select the appraisal for whom you require to view the objectives |
The system displays the following
Appraiser’s Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the appraiser belongs |
Objective Mapping Status |
The status of approval of the objective mapping, for the employee’s appraiser. It could be one of the following: “Approved”, “Pending”, “Not defined”, "Not Applicable". When the status of all the objectives in the multiline are approved, it will display the status “Approved”. |
The “View Objectives” multiline displays the following
Objective Description |
The description of each objective assigned to the appraiser |
Objective Detailed Desc. (Desired/Outcome/Targets) |
A detailed description of the objective. |
Weightage |
A number to indicate the weightage that is assigned to the objective, with respect to the other objectives mapped to the evaluation template. See example below. |
Weightage (in %) |
The weightage assigned to the objective, in percentage. Example: There are three objective codes in the multiline: A1, A2 and A3. You had entered the following weightages for each objective, in the “Objective Weightage” field in the multiline: 20 for A1, 40 for A2 and 10 for A3. The system therefore takes the total as 70, and computes each objective’s weightage in percentage as follows: A1 = 28.5 %, A2= 57% and A3=14.5% |
Objectives Mapping Status |
The status of approval of this objective. It could be one of the following:

Comments |
Any remark about the objectives assigned to the employee’s appraiser. Select the icon to the right, to view the comments in detail. |
