Reviewing the employee’s objectives
In the multiline of the “Select Employee to Review Objectives” page, select the hyperlinked “Employee Name” field for the required employee
The “Review Appraisal Objectives” page appears.
The system displays the following
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit of the selected employee. |
Employee Code |
The employee code of the employee who was selected in the previous page. |
Appraisal Type |
The type of appraisal performed for the employee. It could be one of the following:

Assignment No. |
The number of the employee’s assignment, for which he is reporting to the appraiser. |
Appraisal Calendar Code |
The code of the appraisal calendar in which the employee’s appraisal falls. |
Calendar Short Description |
A short description of the appraisal calendar. |
Period From |
The start date of the calendar. |
Period To |
The end date of the calendar |
Objective Mapping Status |
The status of approval of the objective mapping. It could be one of the following: “Approved”, “Pending” , “Not defined”,"Not Applicable". When the status of all the objectives in the multiline are approved, it will display the status “Approved”. |
Appraiser |
The employee code of the login appraiser |
Appraiser’s Employment Unit |
The employment unit to which the appraiser belongs |
Edit the following, if required, in the “Objectives” multiline
Objective Description |
The description of each objective assigned to the appraiser |
Objective Detailed Desc. (Desired/Outcome/Targets) |
A detailed description of the objective. |
Weightage |
A number to indicate the weightage that is assigned to the objective, with respect to the other objectives in the multiline. See example below. |
Objectives Mapping Status |
The status of approval of this objective. It could be one of the following:

To compute the objective weightage, in percentage
Select the “Compute Objective Weightage in %” pushbutton, to display the weightage in percentage.
The multiline displays the following for each objective
Weightage (in %) |
The weightage assigned to the objective, in percentage. Example: There are three objective codes in the multiline: A1, A2 and A3. You had entered the following weightages for each objective, in the “Objective Weightage” field in the multiline: 20 for A1, 40 for A2 and 10 for A3. The system therefore takes the total as 70, and computes each objective’s weightage in percentage as follows: A1 = 28.5 %, A2= 57% and A3=14.5% |
To assign “approved” for all objectives
Select the “Default Status as Approved” pushbutton, to set the “Objective Mapping Status“ field to “Approved” for all the objectives.
The system assigns the “Approved” status for all the objectives in the multiline.
Select the “Submit” pushbutton.
The system saves this mapping of appraisal objectives to the employee.
