Carrying out an appraisal readiness check
Select the “Appraisal Readiness Check” link under the left pane.
The “Appraisal Readiness Check” page appears.
Enter the following filters
Appraisal Processing Unit |
From the “Appraisal Processing Unit” drop-down list box, select the organization unit. Tell me more. |
Employment Unit |
The employment unit for which appraisal process has to be initiated. This refers to the organization unit that holds the Employment information component |
Appraisal Type |
From the drop-down list box, select the type of appraisal for which you require to carry out the readiness check. It can be one of the following:

Appraisal Calendar Code |
The code of the appraisal calendar for which employees are to be retrieved. Help available. |
User Defined Rule |
Optionally, you can enter the user-defined rule that will verify whether the employee records are ready for initiating the appraisal. Help available. |
The system displays the following, if you select the appraisal calendar using Help.
Calendar Short Description |
The description of the calendar |
Period From |
The start date of the appraisal calendar |
Period To |
The end date of the appraisal calendar |
Select the “Submit” pushbutton, to request the system to carry out the readiness check for the employee records satisfying the filters you specified.
Note: The system will provide an alert if self-appraisal parameters have not been set, the countersigning officer has not been set or potentials have not been defined for the appraisal calendar. However, you can proceed without addressing these alerts.
To view the error log
Select the “View Error Log” link.
