Managing activity operation code

Select the “Manage Activity Ops. Code” activity under the “Flight Operations Setup” business component.

The “Manage Activity Ops. Code” page appears.

Enter the following field in the “Define Activity for” group box:

Act. Reporting Level

Use the drop-down list box to specify the level based on which you wish to report the activity. The system lists the following options:

Employee - Select this option if you wish to report activity at employee level.
Flight - Select this option if you wish to report activity at a flight level.

Crew Type

Use drop-down list box to specify the type of crew assigned. The system lists all the values that are in are in “Active” status as defined for the Entity "A/c Charter Service" and Category Type - "Crew Type", in the “Category” business Component.

Mapping Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the mapping status of the activity operation code associated with the Crew Type. The system lists the following options:

Active - Select this option if the mapping is in active status.
All - Select this option if the mapping is in inactive status.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search details in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Activity Ops. Code Info.”:

Activity Ops. Code	The code identifying the activity operation. Mandatory. Ensure that the code entered in this field is assigned to a unique “Crew Type:.
Description	Any textual comment on the Activity Operation Code. Mandatory. Ensure that the description entered in this field is unique description for an Activity Ops. Code.
Crew Type	Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of crew assigned. Mandatory. The system lists all the values that are in “Active” status as defined for the Entity “A/c Charter Service" and the Category Type - "Crew Type", in the “Category” business Component. By default the system leaves this field blank if “Employee” is selected in the Act. Reporting Level” in the “Define Activity for” group box.
Unit	The unit of measurement. Data selection in this field is mandatory if “Flight” is selected as the “Act. Reporting Level”. The system lists the following: “Hours” if “Employee” is selected in the “Act. Reporting Level” field. The system displays “Hours” by default. All the values in “Active” status as defined for the Entity - "A/c Charter Service" and Category Type "Activity Unit - Flight Reported", in the “Category” business Component if “Flight” is selected in the “Act. Reporting Level” field. By default the system leaves this field blank. The system defaults “Hours” in this field if “Employee” is selected as the “Act. Reporting Level”.
Mapping Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the mapping status of the activity code associated with the Crew Type. The system lists the following options: Active - Select this option if the activity code associated with the Crew Type needs to be in “active” status. Inactive - Select this option if the activity code associated with the Crew Type needs to be in “inactive” status. The system displays “Active” by default in this field.

The system displays the following fields in the “Activity Ops. Code Info.:

Created by	The login user who created the code.
Created Date	The date on which the code was created.
Last Modified by	The login user who last modified the code.

Click the "Save Activity Ops. Code" pushbutton to save all the activity operation code against the activity reporting level and the mapping status specified.
