Managing Access Rights for Finance Book

Select “Manage Access Rights for Finance Book” activity under the “Organization setup” business component.
The “Manage Access Rights for Finance Book” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Company |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the company for which the access rights for finance book is provided to the users. The system lists all the companies which are all available in the Installation, for which the Company level option 'Enable Finance Book based access rights to users' is set as “Yes”, along with the value “All”. The system displays the value 'All', by default. |
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the level at which the access rights to the user is restricted. The system lists all the ‘active’ Posting Finance Book for the company along with the value “All”. The system displays the value 'All', by default. |
User Name |
The name of the user who is mapped to the Finance Book. Smart search enabled. |
Role Name |
The role of the user who is mapped to the Finance Book. Smart search enabled. |
Basis |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis on which the Finance Book access rights to the user is to be enabled. The system lists the values “Exclusion” and “Inclusion” along with the value “All”. The system defaults the value “All”, by default. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the Finance Book access rights mapping with the user. The system lists the values “Active”, “Inactive” along with the value “All”. The system defaults the value “All”, by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the results in the multiline.
Enter the following in the “Access Right Details” multiline:
Company |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the company for which the access rights for finance book is provided to the users. The system lists all the companies which are all available in the Installation, for which the Company level option 'Enable Finance Book based access rights to users' is set as “Yes”, along with the value “All”. The system displays the first company, by default. |
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the level at which the access rights to the user is restricted. The system lists all the ‘active’ Posting Finance Book for the company along with the value “All”. The system displays the value 'All', by default. |
User Name |
The name of the user who is mapped to the Finance Book. |
Role Name |
The role of the user who is mapped to the Finance Book. |

The date on which the access right mapping is done. |

The name of the user who modified the access right mapping recently. |

The date on which the access right mapping was modified recently. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to record the access right details for the user.
