Generating Maintenance Cost Report

This page allows you to generate the maintenance cost report.

Select the “Generate Maintenance Cost Report” link under the “Additional Reports Line Maintenance” business component.

The “Generate Maintenance Cost Report” page appears.

Enter the following in the group box:

Aircraft Reg #	The registration number of the aircraft for which the maintenance cost report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the aircraft registration number entered is valid as defined in the “Aircraft” business component. Ensure that the entered registration number of the aircraft is in “Active” status. Help facility available
Work Center #	Use the drop-down list box to select the work center for which the maintenance cost report must be generated. The system lists all the work centers that are in “Active” status as defined in the “Work Center” business component. The system leaves the field blank on launch of the page.
Technical Log #	The technical log number associated to the aircraft for which the maintenance cost report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the “Display Option” is selected as “Technical Log Wise”. Ensure that the technical log number entered is in “Confirmed” status.
Work Unit #	The number identifying the work unit performed on the aircraft for which the maintenance cost report must be generated (Alphanumeric, 30). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the “Display Option” is selected as “Work Unit Wise”. Ensure that the work unit number entered is valid.
From Date	The starting date in the range of dates for which the maintenance cost report must be generated (Date Format). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the “Display Option” selected is other than "Technical Log wise". Ensure that the date entered is earlier than or equal to the current system date.
To Date	The ending date in the range of dates for which the maintenance cost report must be generated (Date Format). Ensure the following: The date entered must not be later than the current system date. If “To Date” is not entered, the system considers the current system date as the “To Date”. If values are entered in both “From Date” and “To Date” fields, the entered “To Date” must be later than or equal to the “From Date” entered.

Note: The “From Date” and “To Date” fields are not mandatory, if the “Display Option” is selected as “Technical Log Wise”.

Display Option

Use the drop-down list box to select the option in which the report must be displayed. The system displays the options: “Aircraft Wise”, “Work Center Wise”, “Technical Log Wise”, “Work Unit Wise”, and “Aircraft – Work Unit Wise”. The system displays the option “Aircraft Wise” by default.

Click the “Generate Report” pushbutton, to generate the maintenance cost report.
The report will be generated for only the technical logs that are in “Confirmed” status.
If an aircraft registration number is entered, all the technical logs that are associated to this aircraft will be displayed in the report, otherwise all the technical logs raised on all the aircrafts will be displayed.
If a work center number is selected, all the technical logs that are created on that particular work center will be displayed in the report, otherwise all the technical logs created on all the work centers will be displayed.
If a technical log number is entered, then the system displays the details of this technical log which is in "Confirmed” status.
If a work unit number is entered, then the system displays all the technical logs with this work unit number, otherwise all the technical logs in “Confirmed” status will be displayed.
