This page allows the administrator to manage the customer login details.

The “Manage Customer Code-User Name Association” page appears.

Customer # From

The starting code in the range of codes identifying the customer whose mapping details are to be maintained. (Alphanumeric, 18). Enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the customer codes that are similar to the values entered here.

Customer # To

The ending code in the range of codes identifying the customer whose mapping details are to be maintained. (Alphanumeric, 18). Enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the customer codes that are similar to the values entered here.

Registered at

Use the drop-down list box to specify the organizational unit in which the customer record is created. The system retrieves all the active organizational units mapped to the specified company code to which the login OU is mapped, from the “Organization Setup” business component. The system displays the login OU by default.

Customer Name

The name of the customer whose mapping details are to be maintained. (Alphanumeric, 40).

User Mapped

Use the drop-down list box and select “Yes” to retrieve the customer codes to which the user is mapped at least once, or “No” to retrieve the customer codes to which the user is not mapped earlier.

Leave this field blank to retrieve all the customer codes irrespective of whether the user is mapped to the customer or not. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Note: Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves and displays only those customer numbers and customer names that are in active status, from the “Customer” business component.

Customer #

The code identifying the customer for whom for whom user name is being mapped/unmapped. Mandatory. Ensure that the value entered here is an active customer number as defined in the “Customer” business component.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.

Registered At OU

Use the drop-down list box to specify the OU in which the customer and the user who is being mapped are registered.  The system retrieves all the active organizational units mapped to the specified company code to which the login OU is mapped, from the “Organization Setup” business component. The system displays the login OU by default.

User Name

The user who is mapped to the customer to access customer portal. Mandatory. Ensure that the user name entered here has valid access rights provided.

Help facility available.

Effective From

The date from which the customer-user mapping is effective. Mandatory.  Ensure that the date entered here is equal to or greater than the current date.

By default, the system displays the current date, if the mapping details are not available for the customer numbers retrieved in the multiline.

The system displays the following:

Effective To

The date till which the customer-user mapping is effective.

Note: For each record selected in the multiline, ensure that this field is left blank, on clicking the “Map” pushbutton.

Note: For each record selected in the multiline, the system updates the Effective To as one day earlier than the current date on clicking the “Unmap” pushbutton, if the Effective From is a past date. If the Effective From is a future date, the system updates the Effective To as the date specified in the Effective From field.

Remarks

Any additional comments pertaining to the customer-user mapping. (Alphanumeric, 255).

Note: Ensure that at least one record is selected in the multiline.
