Maintain External Enterprise – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to create an external enterprise ID. An external enterprise could be an entity that must be considered while retrieving the financial statements after consolidation. This entity could be another company, a branch or an organization which uses a different system and for which the trial balance can be derived. The financial information of the external enterprise can be logically included with the company’s financial information and used for analysis. This activity also allows you to create the external account codes and attach them to the posting account codes available in the Operative Chart of accounts id mapped to the company.

This activity allows you to enter the account codes manually or upload the details from an external database. You can also modify the details of the account codes. This activity also allows you to view the details of the external accounts that are already available.
