Viewing qualification competencies

4 Select “View Qualification-Competencies” option from the left pane.
4 The system displays the “View Qualification Competencies” page.

Competency Definition Unit |

To select the qualification for which you want to view the competencies
4 Use the “Search Criteria” fields to specify search criteria for the details of the qualification and competency.

Competency Code |
To view the competency codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the qualification codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, CM*, will search for those competency codes that start with CM. |

Competency Description |
To view all competency descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the description. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. |

Qualification Code |
To view the qualification codes containing specific characters, type in the starting character(s) of the qualification codes. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, QL*, will search for those qualification codes that start with QL. |

Qualification Description |
To view all qualification short descriptions containing specific characters, type in the starting character/s of the short description. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Example, Bachelor’s* will search for all qualification descriptions that begin with it, for example, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications, Law etc. |
4 Select the “Search” pushbutton.
4 The system displays the qualification records that match the specified search criteria in the “Search Results” multiline.

Qualification Code |
The unique code of the qualification to which competencies are mapped. |

The description of the qualification. |

Competency Code |
The unique code of the competency mapped to the qualification. |

The description of the competency. |

Competency MDL |
The minimum desired level(MDL) of a competency indicates the minimum extent to which the competency must be present in an employee. For example, if the MDL for the competency “Communication Skills” is 3 or 4, it indicates the minimum extent to which the competency must be present in the employee. In this example, the maximum value of the competency is set as 5, in the system parameters. |

The weightage of the competency in relation to the other competencies mapped to the qualification. |

Weightage ( In %) |
The weightage of the competency in percentage terms. |
