Edit Calendar – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to modify the details of the selected calendar. You can search and select a financial year or a tax year for modification. You can extend the end date or decrease the period of the year. The system accordingly adjusts the financial / tax periods that are defined for it. The system also allows you to modify the details of the financial / tax periods. You can also delete a financial period if required.

Modify financial calendar details

The details of a financial calendar that is in the “Active” status can be modified. If the financial calendar has been attached to other companies, the system updates the modifications made to the calendar. If a “MAC Calendar” or a “VAT Calendar” has been defined for the same period, the modifications made to the financial calendar is also updated if process parameters like “Period Closure of MAC BFG” and “Post Allocation Entries to Finance Book” has been set as “Yes” at the company level.

Modify tax calendar details

The details of a tax calendar that is in the “Active” status can be modified. If the tax calendar has been attached to other companies, the system updates the modifications that have been made to the calendar.
