Attach / Detach Operative Chart of Accounts from a finance book – A summary of the activity
Account Codes are defined for a Chart of Account and assigned to a company. All the defined account codes would not be required for the various business areas. For example, an account code for one division might not be required for another division.
This activity allows you to attach operative account codes to “Posting” finance books. You can search and select an operative account code that can be attached to a finance book. This activity also allows you to detach operative account codes from the “Posting” finance books.

Operative account codes that have been defined for a company can be attached to the other “Posting” finance books that have been defined for the company. An operative account code can be attached once to a finance book.
