Help on Invoice
This page allows you to search for reference invoices in order to copy the details from the invoice to the “Create Miscellaneous Invoice” activity under the “Customer Direct Invoice” business component.
You can carry out the search using the Invoice # From and To, Bill To Cust. # From and To, Finance Book, Invoice Date From and To, Invoice Amount From and To, Status, Customer Name, Search By Attributes and Currency.
The system retrieves all the reference invoice numbers, based on the search criteria entered. On confirmation, the selected reference invoice number is transferred to the Create Miscellaneous Invoice page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Ref. Invoice #” field in “Create Miscellaneous Invoice” page of the “Customer Direct Invoice” business component.
The “Help On Invoice” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a reference invoice number. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Invoice # From |
The starting number in the range of invoice numbers from which the invoice that you want to retrieve has been created. |

The ending number in the range of invoice numbers up to which the invoice that you want to retrieve has been created. |
Bill To Cust. # From |
The starting number in the range of Bill To Customer numbers from which you wish to retrieve details in the multiline. |

The ending number in the range of Bill To Customer numbers up to which you wish to retrieve details in the multiline. |
Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the finance book in which the posting has been made for the invoice that you want to retrieve. All the finance books that have been defined for the business unit to which the login organization unit has been mapped will be available for selection in the ascending order if postings can be made in multiple finance books. If postings must be made in a single finance book, the book that has been set as default will be displayed. The system displays “All” by default. |
Invoice Date From |
The starting date in the date range during which the invoice that you want to retrieve has been created. Ensure that the date entered in this field is earlier than or the same as the date entered in the “To” field. The system date is displayed by default. |

The ending date in the date range during which the invoice that you want to retrieve has been created. The system date is displayed by default. |
Invoice Amount From |
The starting amount in the range of invoice amount from which you wish to retrieve records in the multiline. |

The ending amount in the date range invoice amount up to which you wish to retrieve records in the multiline. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the invoice that you want to retrieve. The system lists the following options: · Fresh · Authorized · Deleted · Partly Adjusted · Fully Adjusted · Reversed · Returned · Under Authorization · All By default the system displays “All” in this field. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Search By |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis on which you wish to retrieve details in the multiline. The system lists the following options:

Currency |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the currency based on which you wish to retrieve details in the multiline. |
Note: Leave all the fields blank; to retrieve all the reference invoice numbers available in the database.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered.
Invoice # |
The code identifying the invoice. |
Invoice Category |
The category to which the invoice belongs. |
Invoice Date |
The date in which the invoice was created. |
Invoice Status |
The status of the invoice. |
Invoice Amount |
The amount in the invoice. |
Currency |
The currency in which the invoice is raised. |
Bill To Customer # |
The code identifying the customer on whom the invoice must be raised. |
Bill To Customer Name |
The name of the customer on whom the invoice must be raised. |
Finance Book |
The code identifying the finance book in which the posting has been made for the invoice |
Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the invoice. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a reference invoice number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
