Deleting sales definition

Select the “Delete Sales definition” link under the “Cost Center Rule Definition” business component.

The “Delete Sales Definition” page appears.

Enter the following field in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Company	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company for which the sales cost center definition has to be deleted.
Event	Use the drop-down list box to specify the event for which the sales cost center definition has to be deleted. The cost center definition could be applicable for a “Part Sales – Order based”, “Part Sales – Packslip based “Service Sale - Fixed Monthly Charges - Aircraft”, “Flight Operation Revenue”, “Service sale - Fixed Monthly Charges - Part”, “Service Sale – Maint.based”, “Service Sale– Usage based – Aircraft”, “Service Sale – Usage based – Part””, “Service Sale - Maint.based – Part”, or “Rental”.
Account Code	The code identifying the revenue account for which the cost center definition must be deleted (Alphanumeric, 32).
	Help facility available.
Customer Group #	The number identifying the customer group for which the sales cost center definition has to be deleted (Alphanumeric,6).
Numbering Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for which the sales cost center definition has to be deleted.
Cost Center	The code identifying the cost center for which the definition has to be deleted (Alphanumeric, 10).

The system displays the following in the “Part Sale” multiline:

Pack Slip Category	The pack slip category specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Ordering Location	The ordering location specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity
Shipping Location	The shipping location specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity
Warehouse #	The code of the warehouse specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Part #	The part number specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Part Type	The part type specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Part Category	The part category specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Condition	The condition specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Stock Status	The stock status specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Cost Center	The cost center specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
CC Description	The textual description of the cost center.
Effective from Date	The date from which the cost center definition is effective, as specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.

Enter the following:

Valid Upto

The date until which the cost center definition is valid (Date Format).

Note: Once the effectivity period expires, the cost center definition also expires.

The system displays the following in the “Service Sale” multiline:

Order Category	The order category specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Ordering Location	The ordering location specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Execution Facility	The execution facility specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Repair Order/Exec. Location	The repair order/execution location specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Work Center #	The work center number specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Sale Type	The sale type of the sale definition.
Billing Element	The billing element of the sale definition.
Aircraft Model	The aircraft model number specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Part Category	The part category specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Part Group	The part group of the service sale.
Component Type	The component type specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Cost Center	The cost center specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
CC Description	The textual description of the cost center.
Effective from Date	The date from which the cost center definition is effective, as specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.

Enter the following:

The date until which the cost center definition is valid (Date Format).

Note: Once the effectivity period expires, the cost center definition also expires.

The system displays the following in the “Rentals” multiline:

Category	The category specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Ordering Location	The ordering location specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Issue Location	The issue location specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Warehouse	The warehouse specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Part #	The part number specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Part Type	The part type specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Part Category	The part category specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Return Location	The return location specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
Cost Center	The cost center specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.
CC Description	The textual description of the cost center.
Effective from Date	The date from which the cost center definition is effective, as specified in the “Create Sales Definition” activity.

Enter the following:

Valid Upto Date

The date until which the cost center definition is valid (Date Format).

Note: Once the effectivity period expires, the cost center definition also expires.

Click the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the sales definition.

Deleting Sales definition – An overview

This page allows you to delete a sales cost center definition. The system retrieves and displays the parameters specified for the sales cost centers. It also retrieves the date from which the parameters are effective for the cost center.

To delete a sales definition, you have to specify the date upto which the cost center definition is valid. Once the effectivity date expires, the sales definition also ceases to exist.
