Technical Records - An Overview

The Technical Records business component provides a centralized hub for managing all the aircraft / component records while inducting an aircraft into a system. Aircraft induction is a complicated procedure which involves various processes like building / updating configuration, initializing maintenance program, initializing parameter value and recording Eng. Doc compliance. In order to achieve these maintenance functions, it is required to traverse multiple screens which is a time-consuming and laborious process.

The “Manage Aircraft / Component Records” activity enables the user to carry out all the transactions in a single screen using different tabs. This simplifies the aircraft induction process and reduces the processing time for induction and maintenance of aircraft / component records.

Configuration Functions:

This activity allows you to perform configuration functions like Build / Initialize Aircraft / Component configuration, modify / delete position code, create new part, define part effectivity, define alternate part and perform Component Replacement at multiple levels.

Program Functions:

You can perform various program functions like associate Aircraft to Model Program and Sub Fleet, add / modify tasks to maintenance program, delete task associated to the program, define Planning Relationship, define Post Compliance Relationship, create new task, define Task Effectivity, etc.

The "View Maintenance Event Timeline" page provides a dashboard of occurrence of maintenance events for an aircraft or a component. For the selected Maintenance Event applicable for the aircraft / component, a timeline graph is displayed for the date range specified by the user. You can view various maintenance events on the timeline, like engine replacements in a aircraft, block tasks schedules, Engineering Compliance, Certificate of Maintenance for Aircraft / component etc.
