Creating subcontract receipt
This page enables you to create subcontract receipt.
Select the “Record Subcontract Receipt” link in the “Select Subcontract Order” page. Alternatively, select the hyperlinked subcontract number in the multiline of the same page.
The “Record Subcontract Receipt ” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Receipt Details” group box:
Receipt # |
A unique number identifying the subcontract receipt. This number is automatically generated by the system based on the numbering type selected, and displayed at the time of creating the subcontract receipt. |
Enter the following fields:
Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type available for the combination of login organization unit and the “Subcontract Receipt ” transaction type. The numbering type must have already been defined in the “Create Numbering Class” activity of the “Document Numbering Class” business component and they must be in the “Active” status. The system leaves the field blank by default. Mandatory |
The system displays the following:
Receipt Type |
The receipt type of the subcontract order, which could be “Activity” or “Regular” |
Enter the following:
Receipt Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the subcontract receipt category. The system lists the categories defined for “Subcontract Receipt” in the “Create Common Category” activity in the “Logistics Common Master” business component, which are in the “Active” status. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
The system displays the following:
Receipt Status |
The subcontract receipt status, which could be “Received” or “Confirmed” |
Enter the following:
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the user status. The system lists the user statuses defined for “Subcontract Receipt ” in the “Create User Status” activity in the “Logistics Common Master” business component and must be in the “Active” status. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Enter the following:
Packing Slip # |
A unique number identifying the packing slip (Alphanumeric, 40). This delivery note is received from the supplier. |
Packing Slip Date |
The date on which the packing slip was raised (Date Format). The delivery note date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field in this page. Mandatory. |
Note: The packing slip note date must not be earlier than the date of the subcontract order.
Remarks |
Any Additional information pertaining to subcontract receipt (Alphanumeric, 255) Zoom facility available. |
The system displays the following in the “Subcontract Details” group box:
SCO # |
The number identifying the subcontract order |
Amendment # |
The amendment number of the subcontract order |
SCO Date |
The date on which subcontract order was created |
SCO Amendment Date |
The amendment date of SCO |
Status |
The status of the SCO, which could be "Open" or "NT Closed" |
SCO Type |
The type of the SCO, which could be “Ad hoc” and “Service” |
Category |
The category of the SCO to which it belongs |
User Status |
The user status of the SCO |
Priority |
The priority of the SCO |
Aircraft Reg. # |
The number identifying the aircraft |
Buyer Group |
The buyer group to which the login user belongs |
Description |
The textual description of the buyer group |

Note: The system displays the details for those subcontract orders whose line items are in the ‘Moved’ status in the “Good Receipt” business component.
The system displays the following in the “Supplier Details” group box:

The code identifying the supplier of the item |

The name of the supplier Zoom facility available |
Contact Person |
The name of the contact person, in case of any queries |
Phone # |
The contact telephone number of the supplier |
Fax# |
The contact fax number of the supplier |

The system displays the following in the “Receipt Details” multiline:

The line number generated by the system for every receipt entered in the multiline |

The textual description pertaining to the service |
Units Ordered |
The number of units ordered based on the subcontract order |
Pending Qty. |
The number of units of the line item not yet received. This is retrieved from the subcontract order business component. |
UOM |
The units of measurement in which the SCO is transacted |
Enter the following:
Receipt Date |
The date of subcontract receipt (Date Format) Mandatory. This date cannot be earlier than the SCO date or later than the system date. By default, the system displays the current date. |
Receipt Units |
The quantity received from the supplier (Numeric) Mandatory. Ensure that the quantity is greater than zero. The received units should not be greater than the pending units. |
The system displays the following:
Costing Usage |
The cost center usage (consumption point) for the item |
Usage For Account |
The account usage, which points to an “Account Code” where the financial postings will be done |
Date Reqd. |
The date on which the required quantity must be delivered by the supplier |
Enter the following:
Notes |
Any additional information pertaining to subcontract receipt (Alphanumeric, 2000) |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the subcontract receipt for further process.
Note: At least one row has to be selected.
Note: The system checks every service number in the multiline, as to whether the service UOM allows fractions when the “Receipt Units” are less than the ordered units.
Click the “Record Receipt” pushbutton to record the subcontract receipt details for the selected subcontract order.
The system sets the status of the subcontract order as “Received” upon generation of the receipt number.
Note: The system maintains the cost center for each of the line item.
Click the “Confirm Receipt” pushbutton to confirm the subcontract receipt details for the selected subcontract order.
The system updates the status of the subcontract receipt as “Confirmed”. The confirmed subcontract receipt is frozen and no further modifications are allowed.
Note: Only the subcontract receipt that is in the “Received” status can be confirmed.
The system posts the financial entries to the relevant account codes in the "Finance Book Processing" business component.
The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:
