Selecting stock conversion document for viewing
This page allows you to search and select a stock conversion document for viewing. Tell me more.
Select the “View Stock Conversion” link under the “Stock Conversion” business component.
The “Select Conversion Document” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you are aware of the stock conversion document number for which you wish to view the details:
Stock Conversion # |
The number identifying the stock conversion document to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Click the “View Stock Conversion” link provided alongside, to view the details.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the stock conversion document for which you wish to view the details. Data-entry in the following fields is optional.
Stock Conversion # |
The number identifying the stock conversion document to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the stock conversion document numbers similar to the value entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the stock conversion documents available in the system. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the stock conversion document. The system provides the options “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Authorized” and “Cancelled”. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the stock conversion documents available in the login organization unit, irrespective of their status. |
Warehouse # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the number identifying the warehouse for the login organization unit and the transaction “Stock Conversion” . The system lists the warehouses that have already been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component. |
Conversion Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the stock conversion transaction. The drop-down list box displays the following: Ownership and Stock Status. To retrieve stock conversion transactions that affected ownership or stock status of parts, select the relevant value from the drop-down list box. |
Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the stock conversion document category. The system lists all the quick codes of the type “Category” defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity and that are in “Active” status. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the user status for the stock conversion document. The system lists all the quick codes of the type “User Status” defined in the ‘Create Quick Codes” activity, that are in “Active” status. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part available in the stock conversion document you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the stock conversion documents, containing part numbers similar to the value entered here. |
Part Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the part from “Raw Material”, “Component”, “Expendable”, "Miscellaneous", “Tool”, “Consumable”, and “Kit”. The system displays “Component” by default. |
Zone/Bin Change? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the intra-warehouse transfer of the part is carried out during stock conversion. The drop-down list box displays the following: No and Yes. The system retrieves those stock conversion transactions that involved intra-warehouse transfer of parts, if you select ‘Yes’. Conversely, to retrieve conversion transactions that did not result in zone/bin change for parts, select ‘No’. |
Created Date From |
The starting date in the range of stock conversion document dates from which the stock conversion details must be retrieved . The system lists all the stock conversion documents that have been raised later than this date. The date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. Ensure that the date entered is earlier or the same as the system date. The date entered in this field must be earlier or the same as the date entered in the “Created Date To” field. |
Created Date To |
The ending date in the range of stock conversion document dates until which the stock conversion details must be retrieved . The system lists all the stock conversion documents that are raised earlier than this date. The date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. Ensure that the date entered is earlier or the same as the system date. The date entered in this field must be later or the same as the date entered in the “Created Date From ” field. |
Condition Change? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the condition of the part was changed through stock conversion. The drop-down list box displays the following: No and Yes. The system retrieves those stock conversion transactions that involved condition change of parts, if you select ‘Yes’. Conversely, to retrieve conversion transactions that did not result in condition change of parts, select ‘No’. |
Note: Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve all the stock conversion documents, which were raised in the period starting from the date entered in the “Created Date From” field and the system date.
Click the “Search” pushbutton, to retrieve the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered:

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark a stock conversion document for viewing. Alternatively, you can select the Stock conversion number in the multiline to view the details.

Selecting stock conversion document for viewing – An overview
If you know the stock conversion document number, you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the stock conversion document number, the status, the date range during which the stock conversion document has been raised, the part type and the category of the stock conversion document. You can also search based on the warehouse number, the user status and the part number. The system retrieves the stock conversion document based on the search criteria entered.
