Selecting stock analysis document for viewing

This activity allows you to select the stock analysis document, for which you wish to view the details.

Select the “View Stock Analysis” link under the “Stock Analysis” business component.

The “Select Stock Analysis” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

To search for the analysis document

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for the stock analysis document:

Analysis #	The code identifying the stock analysis document for which you wish to view the details (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the analysis document number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the analysis documents similar to the number entered. You can leave the field blank to retrieve all the stock analysis documents irrespective of the number.
Analysis Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the stock analysis for which you wish to view the details. The system lists the options “ABC", "FSN", "XYZ" and "VED”. By default, the system sets the field to “ABC”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the stock analysis documents irrespective of the analysis type.
Analysis Level	Use the drop-down list box to select the level at which the analysis was performed. The system lists the options “Warehouse”, “Location” and “Across Locations”. By default the system sets the field to “Location”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the stock analysis documents irrespective of the level of analysis.
Planned By	The code identifying the login ID of the user who planned the analysis (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the login ID in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the analysis documents similar to the number entered. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the stock analysis documents irrespective of the planner name.
Warehouse #	Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse for which you wish to view the analysis details. The system lists all the “Active” warehouses as defined in the “Storage Administration” business component. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the stock analysis documents irrespective of the warehouse.
Location	Use the drop-down list box to select the location for which you wish to view the analysis details. The system lists all the locations defined for the login organization unit. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the stock analysis documents irrespective of the location.
Analysis From Date	The starting date, in the range of dates, for which the stock analysis document must be retrieved (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered is earlier than or the same as the system date.
Analysis To Date	The ending date, in the range of dates, for which the stock analysis document must be retrieved (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered is earlier than or the same as the system date and is later than “From Date”.
Remarks	Any additional information pertaining to the part classification analysis (Alphanumeric, 255). You can enter the remarks in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the documents containing the additional details entered. Leave the field blank, to retrieve all the stock analysis documents irrespective of the remarks.

Click the “Search ” pushbutton to search for the stock analysis document.

The system displays the following in the “Search results” multiline:

Analysis #

The number identifying the analysis document.

Click the hyperlinked “Analysis # ” to view the details of the stock analysis document.

Analysis Date	The date on which the stock analysis was performed.
Analysis Type	The type of the analysis, which could be “ABC” or “FSN” or “XYZ” or “VED”.
Planned By	The login ID of the user who planned the analysis.
Period Type	The period for which the analysis was performed. The period could be "Financial Year", "Financial Period" or "General".
From Date	The starting date in the range of dates from when the stock analysis document is retrieved for viewing the stock analysis.
To Date	The ending date in the range of dates till which the stock analysis document is retrieved for viewing the stock analysis.
Remarks	Any additional information pertaining to the stock analysis.
