Compute replenishment information – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to compute and update the replenishment information for the parts available in the inventory. You can compute and update replenishment details such as  “Reorder Level”, “Reorder Quantity” and “Safety Stock” in the “Part Administration” and “Storage Area Administration” business components.

Note: You can compute the replenishment information only for parts classified as “ABC” or “VED”.

In this activity, there is a provision for exporting the computed replenishment details to an excel sheet.

Compute and update replenishment details

You can compute and update the replenishment details of the parts available in the inventory.

• Use the “Compute Replenishment Details” page, to set the basis for computation.

• Click the “Compute” pushbutton to compute the replenishment details.

• Click the “Update” pushbutton to record the computed replenishment details.

Set replenishment parameters

You can set the replenishment parameters for the parts available in the inventory.

• Use the “Compute Replenishment Details” page, to set the basis for computation.

• Use the “Set Replenishment Parameters” page to set the replenishment parameters.

Export replenishment details to Microsoft Excel

You can export the computed replenishment details to Microsoft Excel.

• Use the “Compute Replenishment Details” page, to set the basis for computation.

• Use the “Export Replenishment Information to Excel” page to export the details to Microsoft Excel.
