Viewing the allocation details in the warehouse

This page allows you to view one or more zones and bins in a warehouse and their allocation details.

Select the “View Storage Allocation” link at the bottom of the “Select Warehouse” page.

The “View Storage Allocation” page appears

The system displays the following in the “Warehouse Information” group box:

Warehouse #	The number identifying the warehouse for which the allocation details are displayed.
Warehouse Description	The textual description of the warehouse.
Warehouse Type	The type of the warehouse, which could be “Normal” or “Free”.
Warehouse Category	The category to which the warehouse belongs.
Capacity Constraint	The capacity of the stock accommodated in the warehouse, which could be “Volume”, “Weight”, “Quantity” or “Not Applicable”.

The system displays the following in the “Storage Allocation Information” multiline:

Part #	The number identifying the part for which the allocation details are displayed.
Part Description	The textual description of the part.
WH – Zone #	The number identifying the zone of the warehouse where the part is stored.
Bin #	The number identifying the bin of the zone where the part is stored.
Storage Category	The storage category, which could be “Exclusive” or “Shared”.
	Exclusive – Allows only selected category of parts to be stored in the storage address (warehouse/zone/bin).
	Shared – Allows the storage of all types of parts in the storage address (warehouse/zone/bin).
Storage Rule	The storage rule, which could be one of the following:
	Only At – You can store the parts only in the warehouse specified.
	Also At – You can store the parts in any other warehouse.
Capacity – Maximum Quantity	The maximum quantity accommodated in the warehouse, zone or bin.
Stock UOM	The unit of measurement in which the part is stocked in the warehouse.
