Set options – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to set the default options for the service price list document flow. You can set the option to activate the service price list document in various manner. The options available for the document flow for activation, are “Required”, “Not required” and “Required only for Revisions”.  

The regular cycle for service price list document undergoes the following statuses:

•  Fresh: The status of the service price list on creation

• Confirmed: on confirmation, the system assigns this status.

•  Active:The status of the service price list on activation. Only, the confirmed service price list can be activated.

The options “Required” means the service price list document should follow the cycle mentioned above.

When the option is selected as “Not Required”, then the system  updates the status of the service price list after confirmation as activated and the the new revision no will become "Active “ and earlier version which was in active status will become “Revised”. (For Example, a SPL " A “ can be revised to have Revision No: 1 in Fresh status. After, activation SPL "A" and Revision No: 1 is Activated and the SPL " A" Revision No" 0" becomes Revised irrespective of the status “Active” or “Inactive”.)

When the option is selected as “Required only for Revisions”, then the service pricelist has to be activated after confirmation only incase of revising.
