Prerequisites

•  A saved part requirement must be selected in the “Material Requested” tab of the “Record Shop Execution Details” activity in the current business component.

• The selected part requirement must be either “Serial-Controlled” , “Lot-Controlled” or “Serial/Lot  - Controlled”. More The parameter “Enable Manufacturer Part # control in transaction” is set as “No” in the “Set Inventory Process Parameters” activity of the “Logistics Common Masters” business component.…

• The part requirement selected must not have a Material Request generated in the the “Material Requested” tab of the “Record Shop Execution Details” activity in the current business component.
