This page allows you to schedule the delivery for those line items whose schedule type is ”Multiple”   . Tell me more.

The “Edit Schedule & Distribution” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following in the “RS Details” group box.

RS #

The number that identifies the RS.

Status

The status of the RS, which could be “Draft” or “Fresh”.

Supplier #

The code identifying the supplier against whom the RS is raised.

Supplier Name

The name of the supplier.

Line #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the line number of the part for which the schedule must be defined. The system lists all the line numbers whose schedule type is “Multiple”, in the ascending order.

The system displays the following.

Part #

The number identifying the part, whose schedule type is “Multiple”.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Zoom facility available.

Condition

The condition of the part, which could be ”New”, “New Surplus” or ”Serviceable”.

Part Type

The type of the part.

Purchase UOM

The unit of measurement of the part purchased.

Line Item Cost

The cost of the part.

Ship To

The organization unit to which the part has to be supplied.

Order Quantity

The total ordered quantity of the part to be purchased.

The system displays the following in the “Schedule Details” multiline:

Schedule #

The sequential number generated by the system, when you click the “Edit Schedule & Distribution” pushbutton.

Schedule Qty

The required quantity of the part on a particular date (Integer). Mandatory. The quantity must be greater than zero.

Note: The quantity cannot be modified to a quantity less than the already moved quantity. Also the quantity cannot be reduced to zero. The sum of the allocated quantity must be equal to the ordered quantity.

The total schedule quantity must be equal to the ordered quantity.

The quantity can be in fractions, if fractions are allowed in the “Unit of Measurement Administration” business component.

Schedule Date

The date on which the required quantity must be delivered (Date Format). Mandatory. The required date must be greater than or equal to the current date and the RS date.

Note: If the schedule quantity is entered, then the schedule date must be entered.

Warehouse #

The number identifying the warehouse, where the purchased parts have to be stored (Alphanumeric, 10). Mandatory.

Note: If the warehouse is left blank, then the warehouse mapped to the part is displayed by default.

The system regenerates the schedule number.

The system generates the schedule number sequentially and updates the modified details.

If there are some parts with the schedule type as “Multiple”, the document status ais "Draft" or "Returned” (with Amendment number as zero), the sum of schedule quantity for each line item is equal to the ordered quantity and “Pay to Supplier” and “Pay Term” are in “Active” status, the system sets the status as “Fresh”.

Created By

The name of the user who created the RS.

Created Date

The date on which the RS was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the RS.

Last Modified Date

You can modify the supply and distribution details for the RS, which are in the “Fresh” or “Draft” status. On specifying the RS line number, the system displays the part details such as part description, condition of the part, total quantity ordered and the units of measurement of the parts purchased. You can distribute the quantity into various schedules by giving various supply dates and the warehouse to which the parts have to be delivered.

The quantity cannot be reduced to zero. The total schedule quantity must be equal to the ordered quantity.

Specify the line number to define schedules

You can specify the line number of the release to retrieve the part for which you need to enter the schedule details.

Note: You can enter the schedule details only for those parts whose schedule type is ”Multiple”.
