This page allows you to have a visibility of stock levels with the MRO.  Tell me more

Note: The system displays only the “Stock Summary” section when this screen is launched from the “Manage Customer Request” screen launched from Customer Portal.

The “Part Inquiry” page appears.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which you wish to view details. Mandatory.

Help facility available.

Inquiry For

Use the drop down list box to select the order for which inquiry is required. The system lists the option “Part Sales”.

Customer #

The unique code identifying the customer. If it is required to view the Orders raised with a specific customer earlier, use this search filter.

Help facility available.

Date: From/To

Use this filter to provide the date range applicable for retrieving the Quote from Supplier, Purchase Details and Order/Quote to Customer.

The ending date in the range of dates within which part details must be retrieved can be entered in the second input box. Ensure this date is lesser than or equal to the system date.

The system displays the current system date by default in the second input box and the date that is one month prior to the current system date in the first input box.

Part Description

A textual description of the part.

The system displays the following field:

Source Option

Indicates the various possible means through which the part can be acquired.

Purchase Lead Time

Indicates the average time taken between the placement of Purchase Order to supplier and receiving of Parts.

Make Lead Time

Indicates the average time taken for manufacturing the part.

Stock Summary

Serial/Lot info

Check this check box to if you wish to view serial and lot numbers of the part in the “Stock Summary” multiline.

By default this check box remains unchecked.

 

 

The system displays the following field:

Available as of

Indicates the date in which stock summary is viewed. This will display the current system date.

 

 The system displays the following fields in the “Stock Summary” multiline:

ALT

Indicates whether the part is an alternate part, else the system leaves this field blank. If the Part displayed is an alternate Part, then an icon will be displayed.

Part #

The part for which warehouse details of stock availability is displayed. The part for which stock availability details are displayed.

Part Description

A textual description of the part.

Warehouse #

The unique number identifying the warehouse. where the Part is available in stock. The stock of the Part available in the Warehouses that allow Part Sale Order alone shall be displayed.

Warehouse Description

A textual description of the warehouse.

Mfr. Part #

The manufacturer part number of the part.

Mfr. #

The manufacturer number of the part.

Mfr. Serial #

The Manufacturer Serial # pertaining to Part that is available in stock. This field will be displayed only if the Serial/Lot Info check-box is selected. Value shall be displayed only for Serial controlled Part.

Mfr. Lot #

The Manufacturer Lot # pertaining to Part that is available in stock. This field will be displayed only if the Serial/Lot Info check-box is selected. Value shall be displayed only for Lot controlled Part.

Available Qty.

The quantity of the part available in the warehouse.

UOM

The unit of measurement in which the Part is Stocked.

Stock Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the stock status of the part. The system lists all the active stock statuses for which “Part Sale Order” transaction is set as allowed in the ‘User Defined Stock Status’ business component.

Condition

The Condition in which stock of the part is available in the Warehouse – Stock Status combination.

Trading Partner Type

Indicates the Ownership of the Part displayed. It can either be ‘Owned’, ‘Supplier’ or ‘Customer’.

Trading Partner #

Indicates the Customer or Supplier # pertaining to the stock displayed. It’ll be displayed if the Trading partner type is ‘Customer’ or ‘Supplier’

Trading Partner Name

Indicates the Name of the Supplier or Customer to whom the stock belongs.

Note: Over the multiline, as a quick summary, the Total Available Qty of the Part and the Total Alternate Qty will be displayed.

Quote from Suppliers

The system displays the following fields in the “Quote from Suppliers” multiline. The various Quotations received from different Suppliers for the Part in the selected period is displayed in the multiline.

PRC

Price indicator for least or highest prices mentioned in the Quote document.

Supplier #

The unique code that identifies the supplier from whom the Quote is received for the part. .

Supplier Name

The name of the supplier associated from whom the quotation is received.

Condition

The Condition of the Part for which Supplier Quote has been provided

UOM

The unit of measurement in which the quotation is provided by the Supplier.

Rate/Unit

The rate per unit for that particular quotation.

Currency

The Currency in which the vendor quotation was provided.

Exchange rate

The conversion factor between the Quotation Currency and the Base Currency for the login company.

Rate at Base Currency

Product of Rate/Unit and Exchange Rate.

Min. Qty.

Indicates whether quantity price break is given in the quotation. This field shall show the minimum Qty for which the Quoted Rate is applicable.

Quote #

The Quotation number provided by the vendor.

Quote Date

The date in which the vendor provided the Quotation.

Price Held Firm Date

The validity time given by the supplier for the quotation document.

Note: Over the multiline, as a quick summary, the Least and Highest Quoted Price will be displayed.

Purchase Details

The system displays the following fields in the “Purchase Details” multiline. The Purchase Orders raised for the provided Part in the given period of time is displayed in the multiline.

PRC

Price indicator for least or highest prices mentioned in the Purchase Orders.

Supplier #

The unique code that identifies the supplier on whom the Purchase Order is raised.

Supplier Name

The name of the supplier associated with the Purchase Order

Condition

The Condition mentioned in the Purchase Order raised for the Part.

UOM

The unit of measurement in which the part is Ordered in the Purchase Order.

Rate/Unit

The rate per unit of the Part as mentioned in the Purchase Order.

Currency

The Purchase Order currency mentioned in the Purchase Order.

Exchange rate

The conversion factor between the Purchase Order Currency and the Base Currency of the Login company.

Rate at Base Currency

Product of the Rate per unit and Exchange Rate.

Order #

The Purchase Order number of the part.

Order Date

The date in which the Purchase Order was raised.

Note: Over the multiline, as a quick summary, the Least and Highest Purchased Price will be displayed.

Part Pricelists

The system displays the following fields in the multiline. The various Pricelists applicable for the Part will be displayed in the multiline:

Supplier #

The unique code that identifies the supplier, if the Pricelist displayed is an OEM Pricelist.

Supplier Name

The name of the supplier mentioned in the OEM Pricelist.

Condition

The Condition mentioned in the Pricelist document. This field will be displayed if the Price of the Part is defined with respect to different conditions in the Pricelist.

UOM

The Stock UOM of the Part in which the Pricelist can be defined.

Rate/Unit

The rate per unit of the Part mentioned in the Pricelist displayed.

Currency

Use the drop down list box to select the currency in which the Pricelist is defined.

Exchange Rate

The rate for converting the Pricelist currency to base currency.

Rate at base Currency

Product of the Rate per unit  and Exchange Rate

Pricelist #

The number identifying the pricelist from which the rate has been taken.

Revision #

The revision number of the pricelist, if the Pricelist is revised.

Order/Quote to Customers

The system displays the following fields in the multiline. The information displayed in the multiline pertains to the various Sale Orders earlier placed by the Customers and/or Pre-order Quotations that are provided to the Customers.

PRC

Price indicator for least or highest prices as mentioned in the various Orders.

PROS

Indicates that the Customer involved in the transaction is not a customer who is defined in the Customer master.

Customer #

The unique code identifying the customer involved in the Order or Quotation.

Customer Name

The name of the customer.

Condition

The condition in which the part is ordered in the Sale order or Pre-order Quotation.

UOM

The Unit of Measurement provided in the transaction.

Rate/Unit

The Rate per unit of the Part mentioned in the Order or Quotation.

Currency

The Order or the Quote Currency mentioned in the document.

Exchange Rate

The conversion factor between Order/Quote Currency and Base Currency of the login company

Rate at Base Currency

Product of Rate per unit and Exchange Rate.

Doc. Type

The type of the document displayed, which can either be a ‘Sale Order’ or a ‘Pre-Order Quotation’

Doc. #

The number identifying the Pre-Order Quotation or the Sale Order document.

Doc. Date

The date of the document.

Doc. Status

The status of the document. This indicates the completeness or the authorization that the document has received thus far.

Note: Over the multiline, as a quick summary, the Least and Highest Quoted/Ordered Price will be displayed.

The legend for the various icons displayed in the multiline shall be displayed below.

Alternate part

Indicates whether the part is an alternate part, else the system leaves this field blank.

Least Price

Icon for indicating the record with least price

Highest price

An Overview

Part Inquiry - An overview

 

This page enables the customer to have a visibility of stock levels with the MRO. With the help of this screen, the customer while recording a request for quotation will be able to estimate if the parts will be delivered by the MRO at the earliest.

The details pertaining to the availability of part can be viewed here. This screen enables an MRO CSR to view "stock summary", "previous quotes to customer", "procurement details", "quotes to suppliers" and "contracts and pricing" during the creation of Pre-quotation.

Also there is provision for the CSR to view previous Repair Order details of a part during Pre-quotation.
